Gems sound good. I guess the monkeys were too much for you?

It was a really interesting war lwarmonger I learnt a lot from it and even at point I thought I'd lose the war(espesially when you killed all my gandharvas). My people recognise you as a worthy opponent and it was a pleasure testing their skills to the limit. We will take good care of all the lands we take from you and make sure that your people continue their peaceful and happy life.

I don't suppose you have some before-death gold you want to lay on me?

Yeah, those loss leaders were really good at soaking up my iron Blizzards. Once I had that researched I had wanted to hit all of your armies at once in the hopes that I could wipe out all your main forces and then roll you back (I hadn't gotten to Evocation 6 until after you destroyed my main army, so I had to wait until your sieges were in place)... sadly those individual squads in your main army largely negated all 17 iron priests casting iron blizzard. I inflicted casualties, but not enough to get to "?????". Oh well!

Nope... I've got a couple of turns left as long as I've got money. I plan to make Lanka work for what they've encircled (and probably not get it... I think my crippled empire can at least rob Lanka of what they are trying to take).

Nevertheless I thought you did briliantly given the fact that your main goal was defeating ermor and your armies just werent created with me in mind. One thing though (of which I was scared) you could have raided me a lot with your stealthy rangers. Monkey pd plainly sux 15 of them would have been enough to take a proince in most cases and if you destroyed my economy I probably would have been in bad shape even if I could take over your capital.

edit: though I assume you didn't mass them because they are not nearly as useful against ermor.

Apologies Abyssia. Lanka's death throes managed to take a province from me, which thus necessitated some assisted euthanasia. Didn't mean to get your troops caught up in it.

I'm quite capable of killing Lanka myself, thank you.

To be quite honest with you, by the time you massed to attack me I was beginning my transition to a blood economy (without the research mind... that was all focused on getting to evocation 6 for Iron Blizzard, next up was blood once I had all of my counts harvesting blood slaves) and was running short on funds. I can produce a lot of rangers in an extremely short period with production 3, but when you attacked funds wise it was a choice between recruiting my one iron priest a turn per fortress (important for my planned iron blizzard spam)+max producing my undead guardians (whose black halberds were important for killing your blessed units) or going with a raiding force of rangers. Since all I really wanted to do was hold you off and then wear you down through attrition (which I thought I could do between iron blizzard and that huge army you destroyed at the outset)I decided to go the more conventional path. I just didn't have enough depth to fall back on, and was about three turns too late in researching.

Very well played though. I'll fight to the last!
