Also, I'm using dyndns, but if it switches when I'm not looking, then there will be a several hours where you can't log in and the turn timer will still be going.

It was down, along with the rest of my internet connection, for a day or so. Apparently the result of a bad phone cord to the dsl modem. Last thing I thought to check.
It should be stable again.

Where do we stand on starting this anyway?

you can count me back in. I thought you all were trying to get it up and going this past fri/weekend. Can we also get a comprehensive list of what the settings are. It's already later.

Pretty basic settings.
The map is Britain.
Indies 6, everything else default.
No mods.

That's what I'd gathered from the discussions, so that's what I used.
