Re: Game: Star Fall (open)
It's funny that I made that comment earlier, because I just played my turn and Pangaea and I both attacked a province last turn, they did first, won, and then beat my troops.
They can have the province, and hopefully they understand I had no intention of attacking them. As they can see by the small size of the force I sent to take the province, I certainly had no intention of tangling with anything but independents. As far as I am concerned there is still peace between Man and Pangaea, unless they deem otherwise. |

As far as research, some nations are just naturally better at research. They may have really good researchers to recruit, awake Rainbow Mages, boosted magics scales, or all of the above. |
Re: Game: Star Fall (open)
The time has come for the Lord Magister of Man to make unavoidable decisions for his people. All neutral territories around Man have been taken. There were some remaining to the north, but the armies of Mictlan have conquered a line of territory preventing Man from reaching them.
In order to protect his people from being hemmed in, and noticing the rising power of many potential adversaries in the far east, the Lord Magister, though it pains him to do so, is forced to declare honorable war against the nation of Mictlan. Mictlan's army is a match for that of Man, Man is aware they have every chance of losing this conflict, and this decision hasn't been come to lightly. Proper respect will be shown to the fallen of Mictlan on the battlefield, and the proper rules and decorum of war shall be followed. In dark times, no man can simply hole up in his keep and wait to be destroyed. Risks must be taken, hard choices must be made. The warriors of Chelms march toward destiny. Alea iacta est |
Re: Game: Star Fall (open)
Bah, the foul land of Emor now spreads it's unholy disease across the realm of Jomon as well. The traitorous Abysia lead by the traitorous Hako, god of lies, will be punished by the people of Jomon, and then we shall drive the undead legions of Emor out as well.
We warn marignon that when Jomon falls, they will be next in line for the chopping block. Jazzepi |

Re: Game: Star Fall (open)
Rejoice, the hydra god, Tyrant of Jomon, number one in the Hall of Heros is slain by the undead of Ermor.
Let this be a warning to all, who would step foot into the lands of the damned... |
Re: Game: Star Fall (open)
Pfff, we're almost out of the game and our lizard king had 4 afflictions anyways. Was curious to see how he'd do against Emor PD. Awe isn't terribly effective agaisnt Morale 50 units.

Re: Game: Star Fall (open)
After having this sit in the wrong thread for a day (due no doubt to my current level of exhaustion...)
Man would just like to say that so far all of their neighbors have proven honorable. Even Mictlan, with whom we are at war, has carried themselves with the utmost bravery and honor, and are tenaciously defending their territory with great skill and bravery. Pangaea and Midgard have been worthy neighbors as well. Time will tell if the gibbering hordes of R'lyeh will content themselves with their watery empire of if they will decide to assault the beaches of Man. |
