In an attempt to avoid a river to tears on turn 1, have the northern ponds and the provinces with less than 3 neighbors been designated no starts?

I agree...people have to deal with a random map start.

But I also agree with Revolution that there is no reason to have to have such a bad start as to make that person long to be put out of the game.

I think Revolutions idea is a good one...(I am no modder so I have no idea if this can be done), Have some areas where there just is NO WAY you can get a start if you are placed there marked as no start.

Other than that or sitting on someones lap at the start..lets roll!!!:up:

Any chance of another host for downloading the map? or would someone email it to me if they are feeling generous? - llamaserver map browser just doesn't like me.

Did the game start already? I just finished up my pretender and was about to email in. According to Llamaserver turn 1 is sent out, and somebody else uploaded an Ulm pretender cause that's not me.

What'd I miss?

that someone already played his/her turn. I guess K can check the email in the game's settings
