The walls were nearly down. The vast undead army aligned in the surrounding fields like a thousand marionettes. One minute it was the horde against a lone mage. The next minute 40 High Seraphs alighted and stood by her side. Two bells later even Ermors Tartarians had lost their stomach for the battle after facing hundreds of thunder stikes and an endless downpour of holy water. The Imperial Artist painted the following (ooc- attached) at battle start.

Karmic balance as the turn before was too good - I thought I should have lost the battle at Ermor (25+ grand thaumaturgs). Computer paid me back this turn with some major smackdown.

PS in another game I had a fully decked out MR 29 tart enslaved with the very first casting of the spell. So I (grudgingly) have learned no battle is guaranteed.

Karmic balance? I don't think that works for me unfortunatly.
It just keeps getting worse and worse for me.

I'm in fear of auto-killing myself one of these turns.

I'll leave for the vacation tomorrow (and will be online probably on Saturday evening nxt time). We seem to be on a 72 hour schedule in this game now, and as I have just posted my next turn, so I should have absolutely no problems in getting my turns after this in in time (unless everyone get hyperactive all of the sudden :P) :)

Why? He is not the only Astral/Water mage in R'lyeh nor the only big body. And he'll be back shortly. In fact, I like to think of him as immortal at this point :)

Equipment, and the fact that you "Killed our pretnder, we will not rest until you are annihilated", or something like that.

Mm...equipment was recovered along with more loot from Ermor. I'd never heard that about the AI only focusing on a single player though - is that true? In any case, thanks for the heads up.
