OOOHHHH-K, ren-o-vations huh, been there, still doing it, same, can't go or do much until done, now the wife wants contractor to tear out most of the kitchen because the Island is crooked. UGH...
don't blame her, but going to start big war with him, as he will have to have a new granite counter top cut because of the angles.$$$ and part of the floor around the island cabnits, etc.
http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif , he didn't do it right, this in addition to arguing with floor contractor on his workers screw up and final payment. I wish we never started this project http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif

Well, I am back from Arizona, landed back in UK on Friday morning and was sent to Boston by work Friday afternoon, just got back - I am buggered

AZ - interesting place - much better than I expected - Superbowl game was pants

what have I missed?

Am off to Madrid tomorrow for a week combining both work and pleasure (especially if I get to meet up with Ines Sastre - turbo grrrrrrrr)

From a brief review of this thread, all I can say is:

Tesco, you really could try and organise a mass Baxendale family reunion

Mac, watch your pace maker my boy - I dont know what geritol is, is it like anusol?

Guff - you practice SEIV 2 to 6 hours a night!!!!?? I reckon I have played it for a total of 20 hours all in - this international sesh is going to a cakewalk from your side - cunning legal minds only allow extracting blood from stones rather than anything else

Any day I don't learn something is a bad day. I had no idea what the "drift" you passed me ment. I wonder how many of us Americans do.
Please note: I do not own a telivision and if I did, I would not watch it.
Any one else able to catch Tigs "drift"?

Hmmm, this makes me wonder further, as you don't own a television, I would assume that means you don't own a video recorder therefore, "circling the wagons" is something of YOUR OWN INVENTION and not learned off some spurious video produced in the San Fernando valley!!

Cue Mac dropping his tube of anusol and having a mild cardiac!

Er: I here by refuse to interpret your comment. I will state for the record that I belive I first saw the referance in my teen years watching TV or some movie. I have a superb command of the American language and was able to derive the meaning of the phrase when seen in the context that first started this subject. I must also note that the "Gryphin Position" is indeed one of my own design. My dates can confirm that for you. One might even share a decription if you like.

First, thank god you are not calling it English - hurrah for that

Secondly, sure, get your date to post pictures too (provided that they are cute and that as little of you as possible are in said pictures and especially no sign of the custer hat is in there) http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif

The truth is finaly out, The "Gryphin Position" WAS an experimental scientific research as most of us thought, http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif Aaahhhh Gryphin, I for one, in the furtherance of science of course, wouldn't mind one of your dates describing the subject in question. However, I don't know if the Moderators would be able to handle the heat it might generate. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif

Hi GT, good to have ya back, glad you enjoyed your trip http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Geritol is like an elixer for those past the age of 30, heh, heh, gives you that extra get up and go....

Gryphin, if you don't own or watch TV, this would explain all the time you have for your extra curricular activities http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

TS, if you have that reunion please let us know, we just might show up to explain the workings and manifestations of SE4 to some of your more notable cousins......

Yeah, wasn't it related to that saucer crash in Roswell, New Mexico

I did and I met some Americans who told me never to go to Ohio unless I really was very bored with life

Trust you to partake of modern pharmaceuticals - I get the same thing out of a decent chardonnay

Ohio is not for the faint of heart http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif At least its not BOSTON http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

In regards to "Dirty Old Man", sigh, someone must contemplate upon the virtues of the higher recesses of one's mind or degress to the point of failing to appreciate what science may "uncover" within the universe to advance knowledge within
the various realms of just "what is possible and that which is not", http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

(your just jealous of my stimulating of the upper reaches of my mind to enjoy what one experiences in life and to indulge within the fantasical reaches of "what could be" http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif )
