Thanks for the feed back guys. The offical Version 1.0 will be availible for download sometime this weekend. I'll post about it then.

At that point I doubt that I will do much more with it aside from needed AI updates or something.

If you want to improve the mod, make changes, correct problems, or just fiddle with it, by all means help yourselves. (Please keep a record of your modifications seprate from those that I have included.)

I have found that mod making is a very time consuming endevor with little pay off and no real sense of accomplishment. Your work is always a work in progress.

Enjoy and have fun. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I wanted to say that I am sorry that I have neglected my web site news and updates. Simply put I have not had the intrest or time to keep up with all of the current events. Since I am on dial up now, making updates has become a rather slow process, and that has kept me at bay as well.

However I will endevor to keep the site as current as possible for the time being.

The latest Version of the AST mod has been released.

Great. I'm downloading it now. Can't wait to check it out tonight (after 24, of course).

Is it me or does 24 seem less like 24 this year and more like a reality show based on Office politics?

I really do hate the office scenes where everyone has a cut throat, back stabbing agenda. My god if the real government office in charge of protecting us from terrorism is like that office, I'd fire every Last one of them and hire in some professionals who put the job first and the office bull **** a distant 10th.

Last month I've send some notes about AST to CNCRaymond via e-mail. I haven't got any replies and all the issues are still there (1.9.6). Though, it was minor bugs/annoyances, but should I send them again, in case of CNCRaymond didn't recieved my letter? Or AST development is already finished after 1.9.6?

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Well, 24 really went off-kilter for me in teh first episode. They skipped a whole year, saying basically, yeah, the president survived and we got the bad guys, and now we're going onto a new storyline. One thing I want to know. How are they going to top a nuclear explosion? A biological weapon is child's play compared to that. And another thing. Tony is shot in the neck, and 2 or 3 episodes later, he's back at work. Huh? I mean, come on, between the surgery and the recovery room, he should have been out for at least 5 or 6 hours (episodes?). I think Kim had every right to question his ability to be back at work, but he passed their test. Now Tony is going to Kim and wanting to know if that one girl is capable of working? come on. I think they need to focus back on Jack and maybe the President.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Resend them then. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif He may not have gotten them.

I would do it soon as he is getting ready to leave town again, and I don't know if I can work on the mod or not.

Well good news, the mod will continue to be supported for at least one more update. CNC's latest email on the topic stated that many people have been kind enough to send him bug reports and such that he would like to address. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif My thanks to all of you for taking the time to send CNC bug reports on the AST mod. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
