No, I just usually do an "Idle Whois" to see how long everyone's been idle. If no one's been around in, say ~2 hours, I usually head out. If it's been an hour or so, I'll wait around for 5-10 minutes. If no one shows up, then I'll leave.

When I'm on IRC I'll often idle for hours at a time (if everyone else is idling), but any activity in the channel will get my attention and I'll usually jump right it.

You have to have an IRC client, not Yahoo Messenger. Try one of these:

I went to Gamesnet and logged into the se4 channel and... tesco was just going to work and Fyron was sleeping. I now know it works so I'll drop by throughout the day. I look forward to chatting live with all you people!

P.S. I first tried to get there with yahoo messenger, but to no avail. The java chat worked like a charm.

I used the java chat a bit Thursday and was in there. But now I try to go to the gamesnet website and it won't work. The whole site that is. I put in the URL addy and then I get a popup that says, "www.gamesnet.com cannot be found. Please check the name and try again."
Anyone else have this problem?
