In SE4 you don't have and don't need death stars to destroy planets.
You have small DS or LC that may approach the planet with a treaty, cloaking or by winning a battle. The death star was strong enogh to battle anything by itself. There was a design flaw of too little PDC, but fighters were supposed to be unable to harm the station. ISTR reading that they didn't even launch all fighters in the battle of Yavin because they didn't consider the rebels to be a threat. [ May 07, 2003, 17:05: Message edited by: Andres ] |
