Re: Vote

Huh? How did my mother oak "dispelled when another global enchantment was created" by another mother oak?! >_<

Re: Vote

Only one can exist at a time? Tyrant cast first? (Or acts before you in the round.)

KissBlade August 5th, 2006 01:51 AM

Re: Vote

No, mines was first ...

Tyrant August 5th, 2006 03:14 PM

Globals

I cast it with more gems than you used originally and thus overwrote it.This is always the way it works when the slots are full and you cast the same spell.

If the slots are full and you cast a different global it's not so clear. I think that the new one goes up against a random existing global and the higher gem count wins, but some people believe that which old global the new global opposes is not random. Some people also believe that the the usual 2d6oe opposed roll is used for global dispells and overwrites, but i'm nearly certain that that is not the case and the larger one wins automaticly.

Tyrant August 5th, 2006 03:16 PM

Re: Globals

Out of curiosity, how many gems did you use dispelling my WoG? I used 103 to put it up.

KissBlade August 5th, 2006 03:28 PM

Re: Globals

WoG? A lot, let's just leave it at that ... hehe =)

Sorry guys, I have no internet anymore and it'll probably be a while until I'm up and running again (i'm at work now). I'll look for replacements, or you can start gobbling... your choice.

KissBlade August 15th, 2006 06:19 PM

Re: Globals

I think someone already started gobbling you. O_o

Wish August 15th, 2006 09:36 PM

Re: Globals

you are mostly gobbled up already, since you had accepted a war challenge from me, I took it as mutual consent.

KissBlade August 16th, 2006 12:54 PM

Re: Globals

With a 23 MR ... you'd think that tartarian wouldn't have fell to the first enslave mind ...

KissBlade August 18th, 2006 08:18 AM

Re: Globals

... Eh I don't care what you say aside from you have to got to be incredibly lucky this game Pythium. There is no way your paralyze should've pierced a 33 MR ...

Edit: Nevermind, it wasn't the the paralyze. It was the FRIGGING BATTLE AI NOT USING the 10 AIR GEMS IN IT'S disposal and instead casting wrathful skies to jump to a whopping 192 fatigue! IS DOMINION II BEING SERIOUS?!

Tyrant August 18th, 2006 02:48 PM

Dead SCs

That first enslave mind was indead lucky, but it was 19 pen against 23 MR, so it wasn't all that lucky. I'm afraid i don't have much sympathy though, given that you have 6 or 7 more elemental royals and gosh knows how many tartarians left!

How many air gems did your air queen use? There is a limit, and i think that CB raised the cost for Wrathfull Skies. I'll have to go back and look at that again, i did think it was odd that she passed out, but did not have time to disect the battle.

It's a good thing i like Chinese food, 'cause i think that you have this game in the bag. I'm pleased to be able to win a few battles at least.

LoL, it's good to have a good old fashion post battle discussion on the forums. =) Takes the stress out of events. My air Queen used three out of the ten air gems I gave her. Also believe it or not, my resources are being taxed to the limit as I can't replenish my units nearly as quickly as you can given the huge income disparity. It's amusing as it almost seems a case of magic vs might + some magic.

Make no mistake, that Aella was the creme of the crop of my SC's with a 30 in defense, protection, 33 MR among many other goodies. The only reason she wasn't scripted for battle was because she had a ritual of returning on her XD. Which made it of course all the more insulting that she died -.-.

Plus your ID's with Amon Hotep should be a fun thing to try stopping =\.

Re: Dead SCs

just for the record, man found one of my scouts and lost, I did not attack man.

however, since man is a constant staler, I don't think they will complain.

KissBlade September 11th, 2006 05:14 PM

Re: Dead SCs

Heh ... I'm ok with calling game unless you guys still want to keep going. Pythium pretty much fell so I think I probably hold the significant advantage at this point.

Wish September 11th, 2006 05:29 PM

Re: Dead SCs

eh, you'll probably win, but the joys of set-diplomatic games is the ability to build and grow internally, rather than externally - one of the focuses of the game that seem to be undermined by heavy war activity.

at some point everyonw ill have wished up SCs and armies throwing tons of spells, and the final conflicts will be huge and awesome.

KissBlade September 11th, 2006 05:34 PM

Re: Dead SCs

Heh, well you guys might as well expand into Ctis and Man since they seem to be staling at the moment. I'll delay the game a bit to let you guys build up enough to fight my ongrowing army of tartarians =).

Wish September 11th, 2006 05:37 PM

Re: Dead SCs

hey, we're all at peace because of the senate. You aren't planning to go rogue are you?

KissBlade September 11th, 2006 05:39 PM

Re: Dead SCs

Heh, no. At this point I'm just experimenting with different summons now on the remainder of pythium =).

KissBlade September 13th, 2006 02:32 PM

Re: Dead SCs

That's odd ... I somehow staled even after I sent in my turn ...

that is weird for a server game.

ZeWanker September 15th, 2006 11:09 PM

C\'tis

Seeing as C'tis is now AI, how do we feel about declaring open season on C'tis? In fact I would request that the four remaining consul members cast a vote on this matter, henceforth to be referred to as Proposal 42.

Please vote Yae or Nay on this matter.

I vote Yae.

KissBlade September 15th, 2006 11:10 PM

Re: C\'tis

So are declaring open season on Man and R'lyeh or did Marignon just go rouge?

KissBlade September 27th, 2006 06:16 PM

Re: C\'tis

I am fine with declaring open season on Man and Ryleh. Weed out the inactives!!

Wish September 27th, 2006 07:36 PM

Re: C\'tis

indeed. I do feel, however, that it will be difficult to beat tien chi, given their lead on the rest of us.

but it might be fun to see the intense battles, if and when the time comes (i have a feeling dom 3 will kill the game relatively soon.)

ZeWanker October 6th, 2006 02:05 AM

Up to you guys. FYI I gotta take the server down for part of Friday and Saturday. But we can keep going if you want, however I think its pretty much decided.

I'm willing to call the game. (I think TC won)

ZeWanker October 6th, 2006 02:45 AM

I'd say so.

KissBlade October 6th, 2006 03:43 AM

Sounds fine by me. You guys can take a look at my turn if you wish. My pretender isn't passworded =).
