Re: Zombies

Nice underwater strikeforce and very nice mages, Caelum. But just you wait!

FedSlayer February 27th, 2008 11:44 PM

Abysia\'s Aggression

Abysia liked my mages then. Caelum always puts on a decent magic show for visitors. The next act may involve underwater elephants, or Mammoths to be more accurate.

Folks I'm not going to finish my turn tonight, had a class to attend and get up early for work. Won't be late, just wanted to let you know not tonight.

Well, that looks like about it for Shinuyama. They never had much of a chance, really, against the combined forces of Tien Chi and Ermor. Good game Shin.

Aye gg. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif I still have forces tho, so you'll have to take em all out!

Well, Ulm is out.

Not sure why I died. I suppose it was a dominion kill though I had 3 temples, my prophet and other priests preaching and my pretender still alive.

Good game all. Extra thanks to Vanheim for the education.

Re: Game: Testament of Blood (running)

Cya Ulm. I never even knew where you were. We really need to get out more.

Is anyone else concerned by the massive lead Caelum has on the boards? Now, I don't even know where Caelum is (like I said, we don't get out much), but it kind of appears that they are running away with the game. And since this game could be shut down at any time (Zach has not appeared for almost a month now), it might be nice if someone tried to keep them in check.

Mighty brave of someone who apparently hides in a cave for a living to encourage aggression on the peaceloving citizens of Caelum. Doubly brave for the likes of Ermor to suggest that "someone" or more percisely "someone else" do so. Someone else that Ermor could stab in the back maybe?

Caelum has need of being near the top of some of the stats. We seem to attract all sorts of independent attacks and, as everyone knows, our PD is not up to the task of defending provinces from barbarians, knights, and other riffraff.

Two of our neighbors chose to wage war on Caelum and we gratiously allowed them to satisfty their security needs at our expense. We hold no grudges and only ask that we be allowed to mind our own business.

Ermor on the other hand is now in the business of casting global spells. Doing so without consulting the other nations. The world is wondering "what global will Ermor cast next" and how will it affect the rest of the world?

The living citizens of the world are concerned about the zombie food pyramid and what part they might play in it.

Mmmm. Brains.

They grow back in few days too, so you can eat them again.

Hah! Choke!. You have eliminated two nations already. What is this business about minding your own?

And if we could attack you, we would. Unfortunately, several friends stand in the way of us encountering you. We will not try to go through them to get to you, but we will support them.

As for Globals, the only reason we cast GOH was that our mages are old men, and they need something to keep them quick-witted. We have no further global spells planned.

Seriously, Ermor is a bit-player in this game. Caelum is the nation to beat.

Re: Game: Testament of Blood (running)

So, Shinuyama, you still field a mighty army. Well done, but do not think to send them my way. We have terrifyingly abominable forces still in that area.

Please Don\'t Use the New Patch for Testament

Please don't use the new patch for this game! (Unless Zach appears and upgrades the server).

Zach does not appear to be around to restart the server. With previous patches, if you connected to an old-version server with a newly-patched client, the server would be hung.

And all your schemes and dreams would go down the drain.

So, when you upgrade to 3.15, please make a copy of your 3.14 directory first, so you can use it to play this game.

Sir, I am but a lowly replacement player who has not attacked any player that didn't attack me first.

As a public service I want to let every nation know someone other than Caelum has built the following Construction level 8 items:

Armor of Virtue
Dimension Rod
Fenris' Rod
Robe of Calias the Druid
Crown of the Ivy King
The Ruby Eye
The Green Eye
Krupp's Bracers
Woundflame
Scepter of Dark Regency

There may be others I could not check.

Be on the watch for these items. If you see them do us all the favor of reporting who has them.

Re: Please Don\'t Use the New Patch for Testament

Take THAT, Jotunheim. Three scouts in one turn bite the dust. That ought to teach you to mess with Pythium!!!

FedSlayer March 8th, 2008 12:57 PM

Jottunheimer technologies

It has been reported that Jottunheim is in possession of some Constr8 magic items. Caelum has not had our own eyes on these items, but the sources are considered reliable.

Don\'t be mad at me!

I... I think I... crashed the server... accidently logged in with the 3.15 version... hope Zach's around. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

lmao bad cupido!

vfb March 8th, 2008 07:40 PM

Re: Don\'t be mad at me!

Yep, it's crashed.

But, we will have lots of time to think of secret plans and schemes while we wait for Zach to appear.

Oops, Vanheim means, other nations will have time to plot and scheme. We are only interested in drinking mead and entering the Halls of Valhalla, not necessarily in that order!

Vanheim

Re: Don\'t be mad at me!

After a month off the boards, not answering email, etc., I don't think Zach is going to appear again. This game is effectively over.

Re: Don\'t be mad at me!

Ach. Well, it was fun while it lasted!

Lingchih March 8th, 2008 09:39 PM

Re: Don\'t be mad at me!

Indeed, it was fun. Shall we declare a winner (Caelum), or just let this one go as a draw?

FedSlayer March 8th, 2008 11:32 PM

And the winner is . . .

.... Caelum, or HolyFrog if you like that better.

Draw my er, lower back! (That's me on the left and someone who called it a draw on the right.)

vfb March 9th, 2008 02:39 AM

Re: And the winner is . . .

Bah, Vanheim never surrendered to Caelum! We had secret plans in the works, and others did too. Caelum was winning, but in no way had they already won.

This one is just dead.

Lingchih March 9th, 2008 02:44 AM

Re: And the winner is . . .

Agreed. I don't think I would have lost to them either. Game is a draw.

cupido2 March 9th, 2008 01:21 PM

Re: And the winner is . . .

Let's just declare me as loser because I crashed the server. Damn, now that I had almost finished my preparations and all was about to be set up... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rant.gif

vfb March 9th, 2008 01:27 PM

Re: And the winner is . . .

It was bound to happen sooner or later, I'm sure. If it hadn't been you, it probably would have been me.

Anyway, Vanheim got to have some glorious victories, some disappointing losses, and some nice surprises. I hope the rest of you has fun too!
