I have not had time to play this turn. Could it be delayed 12 hours?

You lost me. Sorry guys. Life has bitten my Dominions in the A$$. I've got to throw in the towel this round.

What happened, why is there over week for the next turn?

Sorry I now saw the post on the main forum. This is the only thread I read so it might be good to post news here.

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Guys I wanted to apologize for going stale in this game. As a new player, I took on too many games at once and then real world stuff got in the way and I simply didn't have the time to stay on top of the games I'd committed myself too.

I should have come by when it became clear I couldn't continue and given you warning so that you could find a replacement. I won't make that mistake again as its not considerate of the other players.

Hope to see you all in another game.

I'm unable to play this turn before Thursday evening as I will not be home. Can you delay it until Friday morning?

Bullock April 16th, 2013 07:59 AM

Något gick fel!

Some bug crashed our game.

Bullock April 22nd, 2013 12:49 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Well lets go for stale turn i guess.

So sad for all the micro ... lol

Sorry for staling this turn. Must have missed to send the file.

Weird...

Cheers, Klaus

Folket April 23rd, 2013 07:58 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

It was not your fault. The game crashed when llamaserver tried to host. So all of us staled. You should have a email from llamaserver explaining it.

Thanks for the update, mate.

Going on a long airplane trip, could we add another 24h to the clock ?

Bullock April 25th, 2013 09:42 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

done

Bullock April 26th, 2013 02:57 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

2nd crach in a row ... utterly frustrating considering the huge macro i did on both turns.

At this point i guess the game is dead... maybe we can try to send a blank turn to see if it's unlock the game ? otherwise call it a draw ?
But it's burden to do the same turn a 3rd time.

Ossa April 26th, 2013 03:27 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Absolutly. I'd suggest we try and each send in a blank turn.

It's a shame becauese the game is so much fun right now:/

Evilhomer April 26th, 2013 03:34 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Sad to see this happen - any chance we can rollback 2-3 turns to before thos happen?

Bullock April 26th, 2013 04:22 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

I heard it was pretty buggy to rollback once. So several times...

So blank turn or rollbacks 2x ?

Evilhomer April 26th, 2013 11:24 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

I guess as the host you could try force hosting and if that does not work try rollback.

Folket April 27th, 2013 12:16 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

I think we should send in a blank turn.

Bullock April 27th, 2013 11:40 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Lets go for some blank turns then.

Can i have a confirmation of bogarus & Mictlan that they have already sent a blank turn plz ?

If this fail i'll go backward 3 times and see what happens as a last try.

Jolly Roger April 27th, 2013 05:18 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Blank turn sent !

Klaus

Folket April 28th, 2013 07:06 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Yes, I sent a blank turn.

Jolly Roger April 28th, 2013 07:38 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Hi folks,

by blank you mean I return the file I receive without saving any changes ?

Otherwise, please explain "blank" and we could give it another try.

Cheers, Klaus

Folket April 28th, 2013 08:24 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

You have to open the game so a new 2h turn is generated. I do not think we should send the trn file back.

Bullock April 28th, 2013 10:56 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Sry i should have been more accurate.

By blank i meant that you have to open the turn, end the turn and send the empty 2h file.
You two had to do that because you had already a turn in it with orders.

So folket you have to open your turn pick "redo turn from start" then "end turn" and send back the new 2h file.

Folket April 28th, 2013 03:36 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

There are no orders in the 2h file I sent.

Bullock April 28th, 2013 04:25 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Game seems to be working

Folket April 29th, 2013 06:35 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Yes it is probably one of the battle we are planing that is crashing it. Chances are good it will crash again now.

Bullock May 1st, 2013 01:52 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

With all those crashes and huge micro the game has become somehow a burden ... at least for me. So i'd like to get the general feeling from other players to maybe put an end to it.

Anyway, several turns were missing about 1h before the deadline so i extended for 48h.

Ossa May 1st, 2013 03:21 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

I'd definitly like to continue - even if that means I'd duke it out vs the ai.

Whatever you decide is OK with me.

I am ok to go on. I will try to submit later today.

Folket May 2nd, 2013 05:53 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

I failed a player moral check with all the crashes. But I will try to rally and get some turns sent in.

Gentlemen,

I´ll be on vacation from tomorrow to Tuesday 7th of May.

Please delay until I´m back on Wednesday 8th of May, GMT 11:00 am.

Thanks, Klaus

Well I managed to get my turn up. Just waiting for folket and Bullock.

Bullock May 5th, 2013 07:44 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Well the game seems definitely dead.

For some reason i thought it was me trying to forge the chalice that was making the game crash (i thought it was already up on a grendel who was in hell). But it wasn't.

It has been a very enjoyable game until the crashes !

Evilhomer May 5th, 2013 11:30 PM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Yes the game seems broken. I vote for starting a new one.

Folket May 6th, 2013 03:44 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

Is it common that the game crashes in the endgame? I do not remember having these problems before.

Bullock May 6th, 2013 05:47 AM

Re: Time for a Slaughter - LA - Running

First time i see a game crashing repeatedly like that.

Jolly Roger May 6th, 2013 11:58 AM

I vote for a new game too.
