The world is Homebrew. The party comes from Oerth but, due to a magical accident, they appeared on my world (Except for Douglas who is from another country). I haven't got a huge tome, but instead develop it as we go. The party just arrived at a castle set on a glacier, so I would assume your character would be at the monastery for some reason.

Just to be absolutely clear, we are using a method of character generation that does not involve stat rolling. The only dice you roll during character creation will be for hit points. For ability scores, you have 40 points to spend among the six scores at the following costs (before racial modifiers):

If you want to play a rogue, feel free to do so. You can take over mine if you would like. Or make a new one. I am quite willing to make a new character.

No, I just don't really enjoy playing rogues... Our initial party was quite lacking in thieving talents though.

Apart from the fact, Fyron, that we are pretty top heavy in the old magic department, it doesn't look too fortuitous for you to be a mage.

Well we don't need two rogues, and I'd prefer to play most classes over rogue...

Well, I gladly offer my services as a rogue, then. I'd like to do something original as opposed to taking over a character if that's okay.

I know you aren't playing this week, so I've got time to finalize some ideas. I can either be a warp in from another world or someone native.

Randall, would you like to discuss my entry into the world? I'll be able to work backstory through that.

I'm looking forward to getting under way.

I've sent you a private message about character creation. I'd like to know more about your world and I've given you some contact options. Once we talk I can have her done by Friday and be ready to play next week.

I'm doing work for the BBC next week and the schedule hasn't been set, but I will have three days free so as soon as I get that info I'll pass it along.
