It is a game where you fly a fighter and blow up as much stuff as possible. Xenon is a good example of such a game, or Tyrian. Since it is a turn-based game, turning your vessel around to avoid incoming attacks is a major component of the game.

Just in case, the silliness level of my post is 7.3 (on a scale of 8.72).
