Saxon, something you posted in the 'PBW' thread that just came to mind

You said you were going out for a blind date tonight with the girl who took the photo of you snogging the elephant

This implies you have met her. How on earth do you go out on a blind date with someone you have met already (unless you are both wearing blindfolds)

Please answer, the public have a right to know

Bru-skis are ok, especially on a hot day, but give me some good Canadian Club with Ginger, aahhh, now that is really smooth http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Saxon, in regards to the photo in question, I must say, I always thought Gnu's had horns not a long greyish colored hose. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif I commenced some short research into this area, and I'm unable to locate any Gnu with this descripition. I'm wondering, could this have been a ruse just to meet the young filly in order to obtain a date?? hmm,

My most exciting job was when I was on vacation

1983???? you youngsters, I was somewhere around my mid 30's with 3 small rug-rats,

Beer-wendy? I must admit that my year in the UK did not expose me to that term. What does it mean? My Last visit to Israel would have been in ’83. August 1993 saw me working as a cook at a white water rafting resort in British Columbia. Quite a nice job, we were out in the bush, working hard three days a week and playing on the river the other four days.

The worst job I ever had was cleaning Greyhound buses and the bus terminal. Straight out of high school and mopping toilets, it was not fun. The guy who had the night shirt was ‘simple’ and jealous that I used his mop during the day. He took to hiding it different places and I had to start each shift trying to find the mop. After a couple of days I got tired of it and hid the mop myself. He had to ask the manager to help him find it, so the next morning I got an earful, but the mop hiding stopped.

Mac,

If you are willing to break away from pure scientific research, you will find a pop song called “Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places”. It appears that I have not been kissing gnus, but have ended up in the wrong places and kissing elephants. I will endeavor to find the right places and provide more, detailed photographic evidence of true gnu kissing. However, as you will read below, my photographer Mary is being retired due to a minor issue of misrepresentation.

Tigga,

My blind date with Mary. Well, you are right it was not really a blind date. However, she did conceal some critical information until a critical moment, which I feel justifies the term blind. After all, usually you understand that the person you are dating is free of all encumbrances and is in a position to date you. Discovering that there is another man, just as you are finishing a nice nightcap and are thinking of other things, is not a nice thing. Being the gentleman that I am (contrary to various slanders posted on this very board), I offered to drive her home and ended up finding out where the other man lived.

Tonight, with Annie, I fully intend to do a detailed cross examination early in the evening to ensure that no legal, societal or emotional bars stand in the way of asking her for a nightcap. I will also ask after her photographic skills, to ensure that Mac has a steady flow of quality data.

As an aside, I am sure that Mac would have approved of Mary, despite the deception. She wanted Teacher’s as her nightcap.

My Dear Saxon,

It is always a pleasure to see that others enjoy the worldly aspects of looking into scientific aspects within ones life. I'm sure Mary had some good qualities except for her interpertation of what a real GNU stands out. I would like to know how you already had a standby waiting in the wings upon the departure of Miss Mary. hmmm, you are starting to sound as bad as the Gryphin with all these fillies running around your anatamy. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif I think you and Gryphin need to settle down and become calm, cool, and domesticated similiar to Growltigga and myself in order to enjoy the wonders of inner piece, http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Tesco, I agree, the withdrawl I experienced from not being able to read or post on this forum was quite disturbing to say the least. I actually had to converse with members of my family for a change. The only drawback was they had no idea what I was talking about in relation to my discussions on SE4 and the Galactic Bash nor were they interested in furthering their scientific knowledge. It made for a quite boring commitment. In fact Mrs M. couldn't wait for the forum to come back just to relieve them of my lively discussions which interrupted her night time soaps. My boys just kept looking at me, except for my oldest, he plays SE4 so at least I did have some type of companionship. sigh,

I hope Richard is done moving things around now, at least everything is here in Ohio, so if it goes down, I will recommend that everyone just go over to his house and inbib upon his hospilatility until we are up and running again http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif
