Notice all these refer to hating an idea. What's wrong with hating injustice, or hating hunger, or hating abuse. Should I be angry at abuse? I can be angry at the abuser and not hate him. As a matter of fact I should love the abuser while I am angry at him.

It goes back to what I was saying about the 101 flavors of Chrisianity and what is acceptable to one is an abomination to another. I guess I was wary of the "Plank/speck" remark. "Judge not lest ye be judged" is frequently quoted by non-believers as a gotcha line, quoted out of context. (Not that this was the case.)

And I whole heartedly agree when it comes to parental involvement.
