That is really odd. I just tested with my computer at work (Trillian v.2.013, Firefox v.0.9.1, Win2k Pro SP4) and I could check Hotmail just fine.

Perhaps it's a problem with one of the earlier Versions of Trillian. I remember Trillian sometimes crashed when I was running v.0.74 when I tried to open a browser thru it.

I have been putting Firefox on with IE6 as the default browser. I block http://www.*.* on IE6 and give them little icons to hit for our sites which are all https://server/bla.bla.andmorebla Then I give them access to everything else with Firefox. For the Pitas, I can even have the IE shortcut call Firefox.
