Re: SEV Questions?
I have no doubt that the AI will be formidable. I just saying that the more complex you make the game, the harder it will make be to create a good AI. Granted that in a battle the computer runs both fleets (simultaneous game) so its computer vs computer.

Re: SEV Questions?
many of the options that are being added involve things that will make the AI more controllable (stratigies and fleet options).
Other things being added are a more robust scripting system for AI. So not only should the game be a nicer "environment" for the AI -- contrary to your suggestion about more options hampering it -- but the AI should be flat out "better". but what do I know. maybe it will suck, and we should all giveup on it. |
Re: SEV Questions?
Are you saying that we've all been mislead, that the game is no good and we should not buy it? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

Re: SEV Questions?
Pre-release panic...
|
Re: SEV Questions?
Isn't that better though than post-release panic, or maybe even, pre-mature-release panic..?

Re: SEV Questions?
Yeah, I'm just saying that a lot of these statements are predictable and we should wait for the game bbefore we overreact.

Re: SEV Questions?

Re: SEV Questions?
DOOM OF DOOMITY DOOMED!

Re: SEV Questions?
I've talked to 'Dr. Doom,' he says to pull the plug on it now before any permanent damage can be done. Before the AI can self-destruct and before the aliens catch on. We need to work fast on this! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif
