All I can say is wow.

I while back I was trying to tweak the AI to end the perpetual war syndrom. Real life got in the way. Looks like that may have finally been fixed.

Looks great! Even though I'm very part time here, its still pretty cool to watch this game evolve.

If you design a ship without supplies by giving it no engines and try it out in the simulator, it will fire all its weapons as if it had full supply.

supply has never affected weapons fire. i think its sort of like the one free movement point you get when out of supply, ships can still defend themselves, or keeping ships in supply would become even more important than it already is.

As it stands some abilities cannot be used on vehicles. I was wondering if this will be changed in gold? If there are no plans it would be great if it would be changed. Think of the moding posibilities!

Atrocities, Dracus: Why would MM or Shrapnel want you guys not to post history files? It seems unlikely they are afraid of competition (since there is no one even close) or afraid of losing sales of their current product (no longer available).

Well, we did sign something called a Non-Disclosure Agreement in order to become beta testers. So, it seems a pretty reasonable conclusion that the developer(s) wanted to retain control of information about said development.

Like you, we do see the contradiction in making every participant sign a secrecy contract and then posting every minute stage of development to a public forum. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif I guess it's just one of those mysterious properties of the Corporate Mindset -- even if it's a three-person corporation http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif -- to hold simultaneous and contradictory ideas: On the one hand wanting the testers not to reveal anything and on the other hand wanting to suck up to the public/market by being very friendly and informative about the process. Doublethink predates George Orwell by millenia, after all. He just invented the name, not the practice. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
