I'm closing this thread as it's becoming increasingly pointless.

The game has a wide range of preference controls to allow player to tailor the game to their style of play as everyone has differing expectations and level of skill and experience. And as has been noted, a save game example was requested and that request was ignored.

The cyclical argument that the game is somehow broken and needs to be changed after a number of different players have spoken up and explained how to adjust the controls has been bordering on trolling anyway.
