People (myself included) have been *****ing about PPB since SE IV came out. Nothing has been changed for almost two years and 10+ patches. I do not see why out of sudden MM will balance PPB.

While a poll might indicate that a majority agrees there's a problem, I do not believe any particular solution will be approved of as the "right" fix by a majority.

Agree. Still i have to say change is requied because the PPB overpowers all other weapons of the same size (30kT) and is relatively easy to research. Same with NSP, but the ROF of three does make the difference.

Perhaps the simplest change would be to increase the tonnage to 40 or 50 kt. That would effectively decrease its strength by 25-33%.

I like that idea Krsqk, this may be the best compromise I have heard.
