The image file is correct but I'm in the wrong start location and I don't have an empty slot in my capital, leading me to think you might have used Alleg_Yes.map, which doesn't have the start locations assigned to individual players.
Do you still have all of the pretender files we uploaded? Because if I'm not 2 provinces from my ally, this will be a major problem http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif. Check the .map file you used to make sure it's the right one (Alleg_Y2.map) and if it isn't, you should probably restart and rename the game. |

Yeah, that's wrong.
It should be: #dom2title Alleg2_Final #imagefile Alleg_Y2.rgb and the start locations should be: #specstart 19 28 #setland 28 #knownfeature 149 #knownfeature 149 #knownfeature 149 #specstart 8 48 #setland 48 #knownfeature 149 #knownfeature 149 etc... The corret map file is attached somewhere up the thread but I'll just e-mail it to you. |

Ok - we restarted with the correct .map file being used (if it's not one thing - its the other http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif )
I managed to recover the pretender files for anyone who didn't play their turn. So the following five nations will need to re upload thier gods: OoohSnap Dr P Helheim Yomi Niefelheim Once those are re-uploaded we will start again. |

That is unfortunate - but your team should be able to recover, especially as Niefelheim has a limitless ability to spend money.

I staled the first turn or 2 in the first Allegiances game(and many more during the game) and my team still won - although I wouldn't give myself too much credit for our victory ^^.
Sure you miss the resource production/early recruitment, but you get some very helpful gold. |

Can someone turn off quick host please or use a 30 hour timer. My schedule is very tight and if the turn hosts as the wrong time while I have to work a little late I will start to stale.
