I think the heat scales were from summer, not from mine. I'm pretty sure I had very good scales, including neutral temprature.
I think there was one point where I could have won a really important battle, where you attacked into the 30 PD province. I didn't think you'd do that, and if I had my wardens there + my archers I'm pretty sure it would have been a rout. Jazzepi |

Also, I will need a temporary postponement for Saturday. I will be out of the city and unable to attend my computer. An additional 24 hours should be fine. =)

Looks like Bandar Log's on it's way out. I guess I really wasn't in the blitz mindset for this one.
Things I learned fighting LA Abysia: 1: Light infantry with axes are NOT good for an elephant's health. 2: Bodyguards are a good thing. 3: Those are Tower shields! Research Destruction faster! Good game LA Abysia, I'll get you next time, I hope. |

There are now 11 nations with 4 or less provinces. Bogarus on 8 appears to be the only one with the contest still in some kind of balance, whoever he is adjacent to
Is it surprising that out of 12 1 vs 1 contests, virtually all were decided so quickly? I'd have thought that at least a few would be in the balance for quite some time. |

ok, i'm using the chit from when I had absolutely nothing, and going AI - this should allow the Jots to be able to carve out a little empire; hopefully big enough to pose some threat and to be able to attract a sub for when crecerelle wants to leave the game.
I'm overloaded and am not enjoying the play. I could try and sub now, but it makes more sense to sub out the whole valley for the jots a bit later. I can assure you that jotunheim does not have an unfair advantage by having me go AI. congrats to the jots. edit: crec is welcome to take mictlan instead, but I don't believe she wants to do that. |

You are not allowed to go AI, archae :) If you want to leave the game, look for a sub. I am sure that one of the defeated players would be interested, maybe Jazzepi?

LA TC has plenty of W gems for sale. We can trade for almost anything. We'd be especially interested in some cool items, like fire brands, charcoal shields...

Hey, as I told Zeldor prior to joining this game, this map is too big for me to play long term. As a result, I picked what I thought was going to be one of the crappiest early game nations and thought I'd make something of it. I had fun but now that I have the valley to myself and probably will sign some NAP's to entrench for a good long term game, it's getting a bit stale for me. So if any vanquished players would like to try their hand with Bogarus they're welcome to. I can give you details in a PM or whatever. The position is ok, not leading in anything, not lagging in anything, but it's Bogarus so go figure =P. Offering it here before opening to general subs!

Yep, LA Man is AI, but on the basis of province count appears to be winning! Why AI a seemingly leading position?
That said, I was a bit surprised when I finally made it into bandar's castle anumber of turns after starshine went AI - thought I'd have a walkover and was almost embarrassed by the mage power in there! |

Actually qio was in total control of the valley there for a while, got me down to my capital only, where I won some key battles. I've been slowly pushing Man back even since. Damn I really thought I was still playing against a human. |
