Dammit!

I got into this game because of the promise of real drama. This is the pedestrian stuff a bunch of noobs could come up with! Where's the originality? the creativity? 3 or 4 more turns of this and I'm just going AI!

Kings of Drama my ***!

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

Really, I didn't mean to cork the dramatic flow, I'll be dead before I go AI (2 or 3 turns from now, I think). I bet most of you forgot I was here anyway! :)

LoloMo April 17th, 2011 11:54 PM

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

I haven't forgotten! ;-P

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

Any reason for the hosting delay?

I believe we should either play the game out or kill it (regardless of whether TC is AI or staling out).

Drama++

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

I delayed it so TC wouldnt stale out. I guess we have no choice but to set AI. which is lame because of all the free territory that ermor and aby get from it. but whatever. i'm just going with the flow now. This game is already broken imo. I'll ask Cor to set himself AI

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

I thought we agreed to just plunder TC since he's obviously not coming back?

Executor April 18th, 2011 02:21 PM

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

I'd hardly call those TC provinces free, I'd say well earned in my case, Abysia is obviously just plundering.

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

Well it does not seem like there will be any sub sub emerging. So I went ahead and put myself AI.

NooBliss April 18th, 2011 05:01 PM

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

Executor, I know it's a very dramatic thing to do, but TC was fighting me as well. There are communions scripted for rain of stones on my way.
Too bad Corithian is leaving - quite an awesome TC imho. Cant blame him, of course.

Debaser8 April 18th, 2011 05:38 PM

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

I blame him some :), but if he is not having fun and doesn't want to play than that's that. Owning up to it and looking for a sub is much better than Juffos leaving without a word.

What!? Preposterous! Only me, myself and I fought TC and none other, I resent such plane lies and taking credit when none is due you Abysian.

Plane lies are like ship lies but faster.

Just die and stop confusing people. :)

The glorious nation of Mictlan will not be vanquished! Blatant lies circulate about our power diminishing! No, you!

Well that was lame...

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

Could I ask for a 2 day delay on this turn? I'm likely to have some internet problems in the next few days until I sort some personal matters.

done

I am going away for a week. Luckily, I have been able to secure the services of the respected Leader of a neighboring Community to lead Agartha to glory in my absence. sub thread

If you must speak with him, he can be reached there or on irc.

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

I think we should call this game in a week if it doesn't get moving again. We can call Abysia the winner for having the most capitals, or we can just call it a game. I've enjoyed this game, but I think one more sub of a major power is one sub too many.

NooBliss May 9th, 2011 04:36 AM

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

Eh... just closing this game is a bad idea. I'd prefer to keep playing.

PriestyMan May 9th, 2011 01:23 PM

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

If executor doesnt come back (although i think he will) this game is over. I will not contine, and bandar might or might not. I've played in a lot of MP, and one thing i can say for sure, is when the major powers start getting subbed out or going AI, its a sign that the game is falling apart. Claim it as a win if you want i dont care, but i think it is fitting that this game end without one

btw, executor is extending the game he is admining (testing grounds) for himself, so i think he ought to be showing up soon

Game hosted.

**** me.

ok, to make sure i dont **** up again, i will put like 300 hours on it.

too much college/fraternity, not enough being a good admin. lol

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

Ok, if exec does not come back, i will be ending this game. I will give him till Sunday. That is all

NooBliss May 18th, 2011 01:57 PM

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

I beg to differ.

Either give up or keep playing.

PriestyMan May 18th, 2011 02:16 PM

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

Well your crazy. With the #3 player AI and the arguable #1 player gone, this is not a game anymore. go ahead and claim it as a win if you want. i dont care

Debaser8 May 18th, 2011 08:43 PM

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

I also think we should call it a game. I believe Abysia has a very good chance of winning, 3 capitals already and on the doorstep of Mictlan and Tien Chi. I don't think I could have dealt with his remote spam of horrors and assassins and his globals would have been really annoying. Trying to put together a coalition of Oceania, Ulm and Myself to stop Abysia may or may not have been successful, but definitely would have dragged the game out longer and I don't think many people would be too enthusiastic about that. I am all for letting this game lie and if that means conceding to Abysia so be it. Sometimes the prize goes to the person with the most endurance.

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

Ok, game is finished. I suppose its fitting that Kings of Drama ended like this. Its unfortunate for Noobliss, Debaser and myself that our effort is wasted because of leavers.

NooBliss May 21st, 2011 02:55 AM

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

OK. Call me shameless if you will, but being an arguable #1 pretender, I claim it as a victory for Abyssia.
