For the movies I'm actually rather partial to Life of Brian, although Holy Grail does have a special place in my heart.

For sketches my favorite is probably the philosopher's song from Live from the Orange Bowl.

Oh, and "'how can you tell he's the king?' 'Well, he doesn't have **** all over him'" - I may be (OK, almost certainly am) remembering that scene incorrectly, but it's been a while ;)

Yeah, he and stephen fry had their own comedy show in england for awhile. some of their sketches are great. Its odd to think that he was a comedian before he was Dr. House isn't it?
