Yes, I observed that on both the TTT and the ROTK - I found the latter more convincing as the orc infantry had started to break already. In real life horses could not be made to charge an unbroken line of bayonets or pikes. They would just stop, or veer around.

In TTT they did start to break before the cavalry got to them, as there was that extremely bright light that blinded them, causing many of the spears to be moved out of position when the orcs were reeling.

Or course, I could be wrong. That's just the way I understood cav.

Even properly trained warhorses will not charge into a line of bayonets. The French sent thousands of cavalry against the British squares at Waterloo and not one was broken. And the French had the finest cavalry in Europe at the time.

The Sudanese sure fouled up a few British squares. It was such a rare thing as to inspire a poem by Kippling. Big psychotic guys with swords, charging formations of men with rifles. Who'd have thought.

This goes beyond necromancy! This is taking a long dead corpse, burying it, building an elaborate mausoleum and then raising the dead.
