Re: who is playing

Since there are no mods for this, why don't you set the game up on Mosehansen, then it's hosted already, and people can upload their pretenders when ready, and you can change to AI any races that are stale too long. Should be easy.

Wouldn't that be just as easy as canceling the game because it's too big to host? If not, someone else should start it then on Mose (since we've all created are pretenders). I'd do it, but I'm at work now.

What happened?

I've never played via email before. What are the steps? We send in our pretender files, then we get the .trn files from the host correct? Then what do we do with the trn files, how do we take our turn and get it back to the host?

Thanks!

Re: who is playing

There is a link in the first sticky in this forum that has the MP guide, which has the steps listed for PBEM games.

So to do this on Mosehansen, we just need to get the people who've started then stopped a game with no players to delete those games to free up space. With a quick check, there are 6 games like this that could be deleted:

hmmm
Olli 2
TGRMP
new game
Umbra
Battle

So of course, how do you get those people to delete their games, that's the question.

Re: who is playing

web host is definatly the way to go if possible, it's much much easier and more reliable. I thought mosehansen was no longer taking new games, but if he is, that's the way to go.
