I very much doubt the UI is ever going to get any work. Personally, I feel it's an awful shame. Dom 3's /worst/ point is its awful UI, and extreme lack of tools to help with late game micro.

I feel it would open up the game to a whole new set of players if stuff like that were installed. I mean, the in game message system is [censored] atrocious. You can't even move a cursor around on the screen where the message is, you have to delete all the way back and you can't review your messages.

well,

I was not taking a shot at the whole UI, i was just saying if we can cut out the prophet messages it may help things a bit in the future. heh.

I guess that is not the kind of thing you can mod either.

I think the UI is terrible. I'm happy to take a shot at the whole thing. At best I would call it manageable, but mostly it's just /bad/. It's difficult to find commanders, difficult to find important provinces, blah blah blah.

Anyways, I have no fear. I'm attacking with my army this turn.

I do not want to turn the Kingmaker Game Thread into a general forum thread for dominions III. So even though i started it with a UI suggestion, mine was game related. heh.

Did you try selecting the province he fought in and pressing 'v' to view the battle? That should replay the battle.

I just want to chime in and say that I made another thread suitable for discussing the UI issues. Look in the General forums for 'Issues With: The User Interface (UI)'.

I'm sure I'd love to hear Jazzepi's rant.

Read the thread preceding your post coobe. Everyone has the same problem, but it is expected that it will go away after this turn.
