Due to the immanent stale turns from two players and the fact I'm going to bed, I'm going to delay hosting by 12 hours. I'd rather wait 12 hours (or less, depending on quickhosting) than have two players lose a turn this early on.

On the subject of scripts, are you aware that you can save a commander's script and paste it into another commander? It's [ctrl]+[number key] to store a list of commands on the army setup panel and [number key] while mousing over another commander to paste them in.

Not yet, but I always like to deliberate and consider my options. Says something about the excellent strategic elements of the game.

I suppose that since troops cannot move without a commander, waypoints or pathing would be out of the question.

Thanks, did not know about those script saving keys. Any way to have paid recruitment (and some ritual recruitment) automatically join a designated or default commander in a province? Garrison just sticks em in the middle of the battlefield, I'm guessing with some default commands or under a PD commander.

Not as far as I'm aware. I seem to remember that if you assign a unit's own freespawn to it subsequent freespawn join the squad, but that's the only case I can think of where recruits don't go straight into the garrison.

The air is filled with the smell of horses, dust and sweat. The ancestors are returning soon the Whirlwind will be ready. The desolate but holy waste seems a perfect place for Vesta, princess of witchcraft, goddess of fisherman to raze her army of the dead. Her power grows and soon many more lands will be enthralled by the Emorian Empire.

Ashdod has requested a delay from the 8th to 11th. If nobody has a problem with that I'll delay hosting on monday.

I've just suffered a crippling bug, which is annoying. Thankfully, the hosting has been delayed for Ashdod anyway, so I might be able to get it resolved, but it's possible I'll have to roll back the turn (if that even works)...

Please try to avoid a rollback if at all possible.

I don't know if anyone has noticed but Marignon has been stale for the past three turns and I doubt that will change anytime soon. I'd also recommend not bothering looking for a replacement as even if we did find one by the looks of things they wouldn't be hanging around much longer.

I'd suggest just setting it to AI and moving on.

Agreed. Looking at the graphs, he just expanded and recruited mages. There's a fair amount of research but that's basically it. I'm afraid I have no minions handy, so I'll have to log in and set him AI myself. At this point, it probably doesn't matter though.

I'm backing out of this game. In all honesty I'm finding this nation frustrating and coupled with my starting position, somewhat lackluster luck from the outset of the game and lack of any attempts at diplomacy from any nation I've run into (really I feel like I've been playing against the AI) I've really no interest in continuing.

However, rather than phoning it in and allowing myself to be eliminated, simply disappearing with the nation set to AI, or just letting myself stall into non-existence I'm letting you know so that you (or I) have a chance to find a replacement. I'll continue playing for a few more turns or until I find someone new, whichever comes first. All in all my situation isn't that bad; a fair amount of land, half decent research, a few armies up and about, so someone coming in won't have a completely hamstrung nation to work with.

Anyhow, I'll stick around for three more turns. If after that time a replacement hasn't been found I'll either set it to AI or let it stall in hopes of someone being found, up to you guys.
