I didn't go to warez sites, I'm not into that sort of thing. and It's been many years since I tried mIRC, I believe it was just released and everybody was raving about it. I got hit, hard. I'm sure that the different IRC clients are much better and secure now, but I'm still very weary.

Like I said, the java app is working for me, and I'll stick with it for now.

narf, did you remember the '#'? It doesn't work if you don't tell it that it's a channel, '#se4'.
