Re: Turn 45
He's on the other side of the planet!
If he'd send some kitty-cats over to the cold dark deadly scary side of the world, I'm sure I can speak for my neighbors as well as myself and say that we'd show them a bad time... |
Ygorl, the king of excuses
Not to worry, for the most part my neighbors have drawn their own conclusions. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
I'll see to fulfilling your expectations, rest of the world. No guarantees, though, since there are some harsh fights ahead in my own small plot of land. |

Gloat gloat gloat gloat gloat
As of now, the glorious and just nation of Mictlan controls 6 Victory Point -provinces. To win, 4 of those need to be held at the time of the next scoring, which is in 4 turns.
Just a public service announcement, for those not already in the know http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smile.gif |
Re: Gloat gloat gloat gloat gloat
Grats Jurri for another win http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif
|
Re: Gloat gloat gloat gloat gloat
Hey, Jurri, I have a meager force headed your way... could you send a contingent to meet me around Vanheim's former capital? I want to see one proper battle before this is over. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
|
Re: Gloat gloat gloat gloat gloat
Well, I'm out (Arco) from earlier this week. Congrats to Tien Chi for catching me with my pants down.
|
Turn 50
Turn 50 is out.
Deadline is Sunday. (However, I think Ygorl will need an extension due to travel.) Sorry for the delay. |
Re: Turn 50
Hmm, looks like you'll have to have your sport fighting Man and Pan over who gets to wail on me next, okiN. Since there are no victory points in the area, I have only meager forces available anyways http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
Thanks for the game Caduceus! |
Re: Turn 50
As for me, I think too little to late sums it quite nicely - Yet I'll try my best to prevent the inevitable.

Jurri - please humor me and send whatever you possibly can. I want to see a bit of fireworks before the world goes dark. |

(Was Man and Vanheim were supposed to hold him on check) Divide et impera, right?- Kudos Jurri for a work well done. |
Re: Turn 50
There is a problem with Cainehill's turn, and I am giving him a chance to resend. Sorry for the delay.
Pasha |
Re: Turn 50
Well - I am still having my fun with Jurri. In general, I would probably not join again a game where more than one Level9 bless is allowed. Not that is was unfair, as you suffered enough in the beginning, but in the long run, this is just too powerful.
|
Re: Turn 51
Turn 51 is out. Sorry, I thought I had sent it out yesterday after hosting. Grrr.
Please try to play your turns BEFORE patching to 3.06. The Turn is due on Thursday night at 9 pm Boston time. Thanks. Pasha |
Delay
Wraithlord did not send in a turn yet. So, we'll wait until morning to give him a bit of time.
|
Turn 52
Turn 52 is out.
Deadline is Sunday. Pasha |
Re: Turn 52
Probably the last turn.
For the entertainment of you blood thirsty soon to be banished pretenders, the pretenders of Pangaea and R'lyeh has setup a clash of the best their military can offer, this clash is set to happen this turn. All are welcome to direct their spies and or their scrying spells to province 166, sit back and enjoy the unfolding carnage http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif |
Re: Turn 52
The seers of R'lyeh have determined that the forces of the evil Pangaea, cronies of the blood lords of Mictlan, will be slaughtered by the righteous. This last great blow against evil will be followed by the world falling into eternal darkness.

Jurri Wins
The last turn is out.
Jurri wins! |
Re: Jurri Wins
Congrats Jurri for yet another victory!
You can scratch a new line on your laptop, careful to make it small, so you don't run out of space http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif |
Re: Jurri Wins
Grats Jurri - I had a lot of fun trying to keep your troops under control ... obviously, I failed :-)
|
Re: Jurri Wins
And many thanks goes to the host!
|
Re: Jurri Wins
Heh. Thanks all, it was fun.
WraithLord: you got yours! HAH! |
Re: Jurri Wins
hehe, I did at that http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
Though never in a million years I would have confronted you like this - its *really* not the pangaean way. |

Re: Jurri Wins
Ah, thanks guys, for the game!
So I had 8 of the 15 victory points in the final scoring... I have to say, the last 4 were much easier to attain than the first http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif There was some neat intrigue like the peace with Man, and directing Pan against R'lyeh... Also plenty of warring. Fun all around, although Mictlan certainly proved quite powerful a nation, which possibly made the game a bit less exciting than it could have been http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif Of course, my corner position did its share, too. Incidentally, I didn't sacrifice a single slave for dominion from around turn 10-20 onwards: My VPs seemed to spread my dominion quite enough. I'm sure I would have gone positively insane if I would have had to manage the sacrifices... Already, due to the extreme price of laboratories, I had to manage my blood hunting by hand since I couldn't afford laboratories in the hunting provinces. (Ferrying slaves around with scouts... You can guess I didn't hunt nearly as much as I otherwise would have. I suppose the answer to that is to concentrate your hunting to one or few super-heavily patrolled provinces, but that has its own set of problems.) It would be nice if there was a structure you could build for cheap (two scouts cost 60g, so...) that would allow for the transfer of blood slaves to the gem pool, if laboratories really must be that expensive. Oh, well, I suppose if you want the blood you must pay the price, even more so than in dom2. |
