Yes! Pasha-Muthuh has some major powers, and she's ready to use them to squarsh the evil Oceania!
|
Re: Oceania loses a battle! What!?!
Can anyone give me an update on how Yomi's doing? Is it even bordering Caelum yet? -.-
|
Re: Oceania loses a battle! What!?!
I'm still on the other end of the world, alas. I've been busy with matters to the north...

Re: Oceania loses a battle! What!?!
Hehe ... yeah, the starting spot is awkward XD.

Yomi is doing quite well this game!

Turn 28
Turn 28 is out.
Deadline is Tuesday at 9pm Boston time. |
Re: Turn 28
Items For Sale
We oni big strong. But we want magic gems. Our servants make shiny-shiny items. We give you items for gems. Deal? -- Anonymous Oni P.S. This is the prophet of Yomi elaborating on that -- we can make items of up to Construction 6, and will do so for a low, low 20% over the item's cost. (So we would charge 10+2 = 12 gems for a Skull Staff). Obviously, nations at war with Yomi need not apply. Please PM any offers. |
Re: Turn 28
Haha, my borders are filling with foreign troops like the swarm of dung-flies you are! Can't stand to watch others soar so high above your limited vistas, can you? Oh, you poor ground-trodders (and those who are not even that; you know who you are ) and your petty envies, how I pity you... From up here it is so easy to see your base motivations and verily, you deserve loathing. But, in my infinite mercy I shall put you out of your misery swiftly instead of torturing you for a thousand years. 'Cause that's the kind of god I am, full of mercy, even when you lesser beings are not worthy of it.

Re: Turn 28
We hope everyone is doing their part in taking out the winged devils of Caelum. They even had the audacity to try to take one of C'tis' VP provinces this turn. Emphasis on "try".

Turn 29 when out last night.
Deadline is Thursday at 9pm Boston time. Pasha |
Re: Turn 29
The Ermor senate has elected Nerongula as its new leader. "All must burn" was his first and only declaration. The mad elder has taken the title of Dictator and ordered all the senators to fight in the last regular Ermorian army. He also freed all the slaves of the Ermorian arenas and asked them to burn the immortal city.
(ooc : sorry to have played so stupidly in this game, I'm probably engaged in too much, and made a lot of mistakes, from my pretender design not adapted to a fast game to recent moves, as well as I've completly neglected diplomacy ; anyway this is the end for Ermor, I've just not turned it AI to see the results of the last battles, and for the pleasure of ending this suicide myself) |
Re: Turn 29
Gandalf the Niefel Jarl strode onto the battlefield, leading a host of lesser giants. His frosty gaze looked on as the boulder hurlers charged forward to take down the wall of the fortress. These pigeon half breeds would not last a minute even against the lesser giants. As bloody feathers flew though, a worrisome thing was seen. The Caelum Cyclops Jurri stood at the edge of the battlefield frantically enchanting himself. As the last of the chicken-men were ground under giant boots Jurri stepped forward with a hideous grin.
The large giant host charged forward, with only this lone creature between them and the castle it would not be long before the victory feast began. As they surrounded him though, it became apparent that this fight would not be so easily won. Their blows passed straight through the magically lucky, ethereal cyclops, and the few that managed to land bounced harmlessly off the granite-hard body. To make matters worse, he wielded a terrible sword which cut through stout giantish armor as if it were paper. “Enough” said Gandalf, drawing his sword and striding forward, flanked by his personal body guard of niefel giants. Enough of his lesser cousins had fallen to this freak, it was time for him to take a personal hand. Lets see how he fared against the fury of the north. As the mighty giant began to trade blows with the cyclops, it became apparent that there would be difficulties. Gandalf’s cold, iron blade mostly passed harmlessly through the Cyclops, and Jurri had had the foresight to equip a ring giving him immunity to the giant’s legendary cold aura. As Jurri’s magically sharp sword nicked Gandalf, he became enraged, and in a fury of blows managed to draw blood on the Cyclops, only to see the small wound quickly regenerate. The two hammered back and forth, each regenerating the damage the other one dealt until with one mighty blow Jurri’s awesomely sharp blade cleaved Gandalf’s ice ageis in twain and in a backstroke left a gaping chest wound. As blood filled his lungs, Gandalf quickly began to tire, and without his shield blows began to land more frequently and with more viciousness. Finally, Gandalf stumbled and Jurri sent his head flying. Meanwhile, all along the Caelum border a giantish wave broke. In every province not defended by a cyclops, chicken men stood no chance against niefel power. Even our disposable mercenaries had a mixed bag of success, though the little people are so fragile that the group which ran afoul an eagle king did not fare so well. I call on all people who do not wish to be subject to Caelish rule by next summer to rise up and strike along the border. The brave giants will lead the charge and take the brunt of Caelish wrath but we cannot stand alone once their superior magics are brought to bear against us. Unsupported we will fall, and the whole world will be subjugated by this one-eyed freak. |
Re: Turn 29
Hah, who says C'tis PD sucks? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
The vile opportunistic giants have some mixed facts it seems. T'ien C'hi, the boring nation of those dull bureaucrats, took up arms against the glorious Caelians first, and the yellow-bellied giants were prompt to follow suit when they saw an undefended border. (Indeed, no forewarning even, despite agreements of peace (albeit unspecified), which is always a sign of a small heart.) So, not only are the giants not leading the charge in the sense of being the first to soil my lands with their filthy existence, they are facing but some peasants in the hinterlands... How glorious you make it sound, bringing destruction to simple farmers! Too bad the benevolent and beautiful and not-freakish-at-all cyclops can't be everywhere to protect his peoples. (Excellent write-up, Baalz! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif) I think it should be noted that, by my calculations, unless you guys manage to reduce my VP-provinces by at least one before the next scoring, I will Ascend then... It will be beautiful, a world free of war and ugliness. |
War Against Evil
Months ago, a lone lone Ichtyid priest wandered the land of Cealeum to spreath the word of truth. During his voyage he suddenly was merciless slay by Jurri's forces. Thise cannont go unpunished! Anyone who stand against is and kill (almost) unarmed priest will suffer the wrath of our god Migaares.
Yesterday, Dawn. Oceania forces defeated and created a beachhead at the northern sea. Thise will be the first of manny raids against the foul empire for there misbehaviour. The nation of caeleum is a danger to us all! there wicked eagle kings pose a treat to the world! While our nation is strong enough to face them we cant have them capature other lesser nations and make them as there slaves. Sutch inhumanity will never be tolerated by the triton kings! Resist against them! break all treaty's and banish them where they came from! -Vukan, Prophet of Oceania. |
Turn 30
Turn 30 is out.
Deadline is Sunday at 9pm Boston time. Pasha |
Muthuh dies
The evil Oceanian minions of Migaaresno have murdered Muthuh!
They shall be disgraced for eternity for this horrid deed! |
Re: Muthuh dies
And another one bites the dust!
Down for the count, please take your seat near the (former) most feared killer of men, Obad-Hai. Let thise be yet another example our forces in the sea are invincable. Do not meddle whit the affairs of the Triton kinds, for it shal be your last. Even the mighty Jurri has yet to touch the sea. Furthermore, We require lave collars to enslave the nation of evil mind lords. There doom has been foretold, its imminent. -Vukan Prophet of the truth faith. For some reason, Agartha's turn is not reading, and I need him to send his turn again.
I will wait to host to give Cainehill and I to correct the problem. Pasha |
Turn 32
Turn 32 is out.
Deadline is Thursday at 9pm Boston time. Pasha |

Hmm. For some reason Agartha's turn is not working again. Give us a bit of time to work it out.
Sorry for the delay. I expect we'll be able to host by tomorrow. Pasha |
Turn 33
Turn 33 is out.
Deadline is Sunday at 9pm Boston time. Pasha |
Re: Turn 33
Dear Abysia:
Shouldn't you be looking at your north - where Caelum is now bordering your VP province - instead of trying to pick a fight with your large neighbour to the east (who also has many fire-resistant troops)? |
Re: Turn 33 - Delay
Hmmm. Something is not working with Agartha's turn. We will give the Agarthans a chance to set it straight. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

That's it! I give up. Didn't want to be the one true god ANYWAY!
-yc Thanks for the game fellows! |
Greedy Mercs.
Those greedy commanders! I am trying to bargain that fishmen for ages now! And he refuses all bids! Like?! What is he expecting to get paid for 3 turns? He is not commanding a army of what, and still demanding 28 golden coins!
-High Fish of Merc. Buzznis. |
Re: Turn 34
I've finally turned AI too.
Thanks for the game. |
Re: Turn 34
No no, stop turning AI. You all are supposed to be taking VP provinces away from Caelum! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/eek.gif
|
Re: Turn 34
Considering...
- I have only a sieged capitol and 2 empty provinces - I'm not a Caelum neighbor - my only commanders left are 2 scouts ...I think my abandon won't help him too much. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif |
Each turn an inch closer to godhood
Indeed, indeed, I still hold all my VPs and there are only 7 more turns to take at least one away.
Of course, you can't afford to forget C'tis either who's sure to score the necessary points in the two following scorings should I fail to do so in the next, so the rest of you fellas are in quite the pinch. I wonder why the lizard hasn't burninated his way to me through the hapless bystanders by now... Undoubtedly there's something sinister afoot. |
Re: Each turn an inch closer to godhood
I was engaged elsewhere, and now doubt I'll be able to do anything fast enough, unless the nations that actually share a border with you do their part.
I assumed a nation that rushed to victory would draw so much attention and enemies that it'd be doomed to lose, but I guess you are just too damned good, and can hold off all your neighbouring nations at once. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif My possible victory would be a far distant thing, while yours will end everything all too soon. Buff up, neighbours of Caelum. |
Re: Each turn an inch closer to godhood
Ok Twan.
I have removed you from the email list so that you will no longer receive turns. Thanks for playing. Pasha |
Turn 35
Turn 35 is out.
Deadline is Thursday at 9pm Boston time. Pasha |
Cursed World.
Great misfortune has influenced the very essence of the world.
There is yet a battle atlantis has to win from Oceania but our forces are getting weak, despite there unequalled battle moral and training. Another battles like thise and im on the loosing side. The trading whit Yomi has only resulted in 6 odd thisstle maces while our forces are starving for brott. And so the final attack on atalantis is delayed. In the north, Agartha main force is very succesfull in ignoring the Caelum victory location and making it harder for me to lunach a invasion on Caelum. And that while a few monkeys are sieging the Agartha's castle. Witch kinda sums everything up they have now. And for some odd reason, the new ruler of Ermor (The one who released the slaves and onrdered them to burn everything) has paid a stunning 28 gold pieces for "The Fishmen" mercenaries. Thise is truthly a bad omen. Soon the superior mental and reasoning capebileties of fishmen can be used against us! Can the situation for Oceania get any worser? Im willing to blame Jurri's huge dominion of misfortue witch started to affect the fate of thise cursed world. -Vukan Prophet of Oceania, in name of Migaares. |
Re: Cursed World.
Hello, I am called Tel City, the castle that takes so long to build that birdmen will invade before I am finished.
|
Re: Cursed World.
Oh, poor, deluded Migaares... Oceania's situation can get far worse! And it will, once I have ensured that the other pests that bug me have gotten their share of divine wrath. Assuming I don't Ascend before that, in which case you'd be off the fish-hook, I suppose.
|
Re: Cursed World.
That was an interesting use of an Eagle King. I was expecting storms and thunderbolts.
|
Re: Cursed World.
What, you were expecting that I'd try again? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
The Eagle Kings make for quite decent thugs if you're willing to invest a couple dozen gems. Quite decent indeed, capable of taking on hundreds of enemies as Ygorl can attest... Well, you've got one for a playmate now, so enjoy! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif |
Re: Cursed World.
If only you had timed your next attack closer summer like I expected, the aforementioned Tel City would've been ready, with all manner of undead fiends ready to pounce on any siegers. 1 turn left I think. :/
We'll just have to work with what we have now. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif |
Turn 36
Turn 36 is out.
Deadline is Sunday at 9pm Boston time. Pasha |
Re: Turn 36
Perhaps in anticipation of Jurris's ascent, the world goes mad. Nations attack their neighbours without provocation, and the giants of Niefelheim march into the Land of Oni, heedless of what may await them...
|
Re: Turn 36
Foolish Gaulois of Marverni, you will remove your armies south of the river or they will be destroyed. The crippling of your pretender "god" is only the beginning of your pain if you do not leave our lands at once.
|
Countdown to Ascension: 5 turns
Sounds like the world is on the brink of disintegration: The giants rampage random bystanders, Marverni pillage T'ien C'hi, Agartha crushinates the fishpeople. How fitting... You'll soon be blessed with an insane (courtesy of Ygorl) god, of which this must be an omen.
|
Re: Countdown to Ascension: 5 turns
Question: In the event that Jurri does not ascend this summer, it seems likely that by the following summer there could quite possibly be more than one nation with sufficient VPs to win. Is the winner determined by whoever has the highest number of VPs? What about if there is a tie?
