Hello all! I just came up for air and apologize for not being here today. I'll try to respond to some of the questions and comments.

coobe - I'm sorry, very sorry. We (collectively as a company) have a bizarre sense of humor. We often poke fun at what are actually extremely sensitive issues. I don't think we've ever been known to be politically correct, but if it helps any, we ridicule each other on a daily basis. I think it's how we maintain a semblance of sanity. Again, I'm sorry. Our intent was not to offend.

Voidehawk - great to see you here! Gregg had told me there was a fan on staff. It's thanks to you guys and our equally awesome CD replicators that we were able to get a head start on shipping. Delivering the manuals prior to the promised date was waaaayyyyy cool. And they look awsome! Thank you!

I hear testing of the demo is going well. Illwinter is meticulous about wanting it to be the best they can make it. If that takes extra time, it will be worth it. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready and appreciate your patience.

I live right around the beltline in Knightdale. If I can come, I'll be sure to bring a video camera for incriminating evidence, muahahahahahahaa.... Anyway, when I found out Shrapnel was in Cary, I was like, "that is so friggin cool!". There is also a guy around Cary named the War Gamer or something. I can't remember, because I've only recently begun to look at war-gaming, but apparently this guy has been a well known internet resource for wargaming for like the past 14 years or something. Lives right in Cary. Maybe you know exactly who I'm talking about and I'm just making a fool of myself, hehe.

Yeah, I'd LOVE to come take my copy off you guys' hands. It's probably a 30 minute drive for me.

Hey, I'm all for doing whatever it takes to get Shrapnel games out into the marketplace as quickly as possible (for purely personal and selfish reasons, I'll admit http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif ). I will certainly pass your sentiments on to our small format and bindery departments, as they are the true superstars behind the quick turnaround for those manuals. I've actually been a Shrapnel fan for about 3 years longer than I've been with the company, so you can imagine how stoked I was when I first learned that we'd be handling your print work. I think I said something along the lines of, "Shrapnel? Shrapnel Games? THE Shrapnel Games?" And then I might have done a little dance or something. I can't quite recall. Well, I can recall, but I'd never admit it. Hehe.

Just don't forget, only send German beer, because that is the best. My personal favourite is Holsten Pils, I guess the US lads never heard about it at all.
