I got the turn, but it is using the older version of my pretender. I had really hoped to use the newer version....

If Chris got his Pretender in in time I think he should be able to use it.

If we are going to start over, lets do it now and live with any other problems that come along.

I agree.

Thanks to llamabeast's ingenuity, it's very simple to take the game back to pre-start conditions...i.e. we won't have to resend pretenders.

Chris: please notify us when you receive confirmation that you're proper pretender is received, we will restart immediately thereafter.

Again, please accept my apologies for all this nonsense. I'll get it right next time. :)

Just to be certain (sorry, haven't had my morning coffee yet, so the old Brain Mk.I is not yet fully rebooted), the turn we recieved is not the turn we are supposed to take? We wait for chrispedersen to confirm his correct pretender is uploaded, and then the game launches from start again, correct?

I asked the same quedtion and Cleveland told me the answer was YES.

But it will be a complete restart, new positions (RE-Ramdomized) ect. In effect a brand new game but we just don't have time invested in it.

For me its good for one reason and bad for another so its a wash.:up:

I am happy for the restart. I wouldn't mind to have at least one forested province in the neighbourhood and not just hilly terrain; I mean, who ever heard of the Pan who sat on this unforested hill playing the flute??? How are the naked women supposed to... ummm... I mean, how does one engage in joyful revelry on sharp rocks and not soft moss?

8 provinces attached to your capital awesome? 2 forest and 6 standard. I have never gotten a start like that before, ever.:doh:
