Re: Fractures - LA Game, Upload pretenders

The glorious nation of Arcosephale offers for sale: lame goats, blind horses, agoraphobic eagles, and perfectly healthy worms. Inquiries are handled by the one-legged beggar at the crossroads.

I'm not very happy right now. I have sent in my orders several times now and nothing happens. I am in 2 more games and I have the same problem there. It seems like Llamaserver doesn't like me. It has been like this for the whole week. Usually it takes severeal hours before Llamaserver communicates with me and then the whole slew of orders which I have sent in is dealt with at the same time.

Should I contact Llamabeast or is this something that regurly happens to everyone?

Are you using your ISP email, or web email? I'm using Yahoo mail, and it seems to go through right away. You might see a delay if you are using your ISP email. You don't need to send from the same address you get your turns as, or originally signed up to the game with.

I'm using Gmail (wonderful tool, allows me to also archive every single dom3 turn I ever come upon without worrying about the size of the turns), and I have no problems. Sometimes the turns take ~10min to get through, but rarely longer than that. Give me a PM if your turns don't get in before the time limit and I'll extend it a bit.

vfb has a good point with the ISP email, though it doesn't necessarily mean that only ISP emails would suffer from that, any mail provider with dropouts from network or buffered email sends (though, who would ever want to do that) might suffer from the same. I wholeheartedly suggest trying with other email address from a different provider (such as Gmail or Yahoo) to see if it solves it.

I am using Hotmail. I guess I will try to create a Gmail account and send it from there. Hold on.

Well it seems Llamaserver has a problem with me. Don't know what I have done... I'm such a nice boy. ;)

I'll PM Llamabeast.

Ah well, was worth a shot. Though llamaserver didn't respond to my last email either, so it could be that llamaserver itself is having some trouble.

llamaserver hasn't updated in the last 3 and a half hours.

Sounds like home! Send us a postcard . . . or a map with directions, and we'll come see this beautiful place for ourselves. Maybe stay a while...

Re: Fractures - LA Game. We're going!

Mictlan's diplomatic efforts with Gath were in vain, and our messengers offering them peace did not return from the land of the evil giants. We can only assume our envoys were eaten, though it is unknown at this point as to whether they were baked in pie or simmered in stew.

The greatest fears of Mictlan were realized when a surprise attack was launched by Gath this month across our borders, into two provinces. Fortunately, several provinces of Gath chose this month to rebel and join the Mictlan flag. Mictlan categorically denies that any espionage was involved. Cleary the people of the land fear the cannibal giants, and seek safety in the Mictlan jungles!

At this moment, two deadly armies of regenerating, berserking Gibbors are still rampaging through Mictlan territory. Keep your women and children at home, and all diplomats are advised to exercise extreme caution when travelling to the area.
