As well as destroying Lanka's only army and taking their cap. So I'd say it was worth it. ;)

I think my dumbest move was forgetting to cast arrow fend. I also was going to cast storm but then realized Evo. 5 wasn't yet researched. Really should have paid more attention to what was being researched.

On the plus side, I've saved Soy from having to take over the position when he returns from vacation since this will be Lanka's last turn. :p

Edit: I didn't forget to cast arrow fend; it wasn't researched yet.

Well, I suppose it was :) My heart just weeps at the unnecessary bloodshed.

I'm back.

Wow, I'm dead? WORST SUB EVAH!

(No, thanks for subbing. it was a last stand situation anyway).

Lets, see, my strategy for this game was to rush daikini, got them I think around 6 of them in year 2. But then I kinda ****ed up, while my plan always was to rush teleport those daikini onto somebody, I shouldn't have attacked. Looking at the game situation, TC was just in a too strong position. I should have just kept blood hunting and summoning more daikini + other stuff. But it was just to tempting. A well. Thanks for playing everybody!

I think you were right to attack me, as I would have attacked you in around five turns or so. You nearly pulled it off, too, because you wiped out my gem income, and then I lost most of what I had left when that stupid djinn got his *** killed in his first battle.

I rushed research to const8, just to give it a go, and having no good summons nearly did for me. If Mictlan hadn't propped me up with gems, I think you would have had me.

Thanks for playing, it was an interesting situation to find myself with no provinces one turn.

Well, you might have been able to rush TC if Niefel hadn't invaded you. Nice job on the defense, I guess the take-away lesson is to rush Soy early like Mictlan suggested.

Well, in this build I should have been rushed. Normally, rushing Lanka is one of those bad ideas. The sacreds with a good bless kill.

I think you need to attack them just when you enter the midgame, before they get the blood summons, thunder strike, communions, mistform etc. Raiding a lot also helps. You need the gold for mages and the mages for blood slaves as Lanka.

Lol; hey, why do you think I asked up front how much you cared about the position? ;) I couldn't just sit still so I had to launch (largely pointless) raids against TC. But it would have been wise to change research priorities when I did that. Flaming arrows really hurt without arrow fend or storm. Then there was that annoying pretender casting master enslave and undead mastery and who knows what else.

I was joking. I was dead already. The only thing doable was the amount of other guys that could be taken with them. Thanks again for taking over.
