What has he said on the matter? I assume with all this sub talks he's said atleast SOMETHING about it to anyone. If he stalls again it'll be number 4 which is basically saying 'I quit'

I'm leaning on giving it to the sub. If he refuses to say anything then give it to the sub since he's obviously too busy. if he says Yes I can stay in it was all coincidence etc then let him keep it.

I'm also leaning towards giving it to the sub. I'd be willing to cut him some slack if he had bothered asking for an extension, but staling three times in one week, WHEN YOU'RE WINNING THE GAME, with no communication, gives me the impression that he'll turn in his moves when it's convenient, but otherwise will just say, "Eh, why bother?" I believe that, if he's allowed to stay, it's only a matter of time before the problem comes up again.

Actually it's was 40 minutes ago, Colonial extended the time by an hour it seems.

Sadly it seems in vain... Luckily Shinu isn't a huge player, should he go south... well... I'll just make good use of him guys, don't worry.

I did give us a one hour extension. I saw it was five minutes to go and no goblins, so I figured the potential positive out weighed the hour wait.

I'm glad that my southern war is beginning to show some life, even if there was a stall.

I'm seconding the hiatus, seems odd for a 5 day temp. Just set it up to not auto host (I think thats what you do) and it'll host when everyone has submitted

next week I will turn off the auto-host. If we all get a turn in, so much the better, otherwise there's no rush. Should turn it back on around new year's. If it's possible for me to send you all a couple emails when I change the autohost, I will.

I'll bring a cheeky stick drive with me so if I do get some time on the net I can upload. but don't expect it.

Hmm if the Marignon sub will accept it that could be a quick fix since the 6hr extention everyturn has fixed his stalling problem lol. You'll have to say in the post "War imminent" if you make a new sub needed thread.

If you find a sub, just be sure to mention that any agreements I had with Shinuyama were with the player, not the nation, so I reserve the right to either ignore them, or renegotiate them, since a three-turn-notice peace agreement is pretty worthless if the person has been out of the loop two turns in a row.

Just put em on AI... sounds like at least two players are about to invade wholesale.... I doubt human is going to contain the carnage much better than the computer. :)

And I say this as a sub who has taken positions like Shinu's at least three times in the last few weeks. Death is mostly swift. ;)

We aren't actually at war yet, We had a 5 turn nap and he's stalled 3 times. It's been 8 turns now so it's ended. (5 for the NAP and 3 he Stalled) I was nice enough to give him a 1 turn extension on the nap for each turn he stalled.

I'm also at war with Man.

Well, the previous owner and I had a three-turn notification peace treaty, so I guess I'll honor that (and would hope you would in return)... so I'll be invading you in three turns lol.
