Hi all.
Thanks to a fantastic, but slightly early, addition to the family, I'm going to be exceptionally slow over the next two weeks.
I can probably file turns but not with the care and attention I'd normally offer.

You may be best to look for a sub for me before the position becomes unsubbable. However, in the meantime, I'll continue to file. For those diploing with me, please don't take my lack of response as anything other than lack of time. Cheers!

I'm going to be honest folks, I'm done for. I threw my last few punches a while ago and got my communion of mages crushed by Yomi. I'm out all of my decent national mages, my pretender is down, I have nearly no troops to speak of, and I've got a negative income flow.

I want to thank HoleyDooley for his help against Lanka and for defending my provinces against Yomi. I grant him lisence to keep what he has taken. I want to wish you all luck in this game and in others. That said, after this next turn, I'm going to turn robot. It was fun while it lasted.

You did very well considering you were being attacked by two nations at the same time. Sieging your castles took far longer than I thought, which allowed for Helheim to intervene a lot easier. That said, whoever gets your provinces in the end, I'm sure they'll take good care of them. :)

Just out of curiosity: You are an experienced player. I wondered all the game, what your plan was. You captured up to 10 provinces and then turtled and researched like hell. I can imagine winning a game by superior research, if left alone long enough. But how would you have fueled your endgame magic without a proper Gem income? How would your perfect endgame have looked like?

And something else:
Can we please switch to 72h hosting interval? I just saw on page one this was planned from turn 30 on. And with my large empire I have to say I really would appreciate it.

My plan was actually to go to war after I had reached several points in my research, which I had almost obtained by the time the NAP with Lanka expired. My plan was to scope out which nations had the best potential gem sites using the scales and pin point where they were using my cheap divination spells. Combine that income with construction 8 and go from there.

Lanka unfortunately didn't give me the luxury of choosing my target. Truth is, I actually should gone to war much sooner. I blame it on the fact that this was one of my first games in a long while. I'm also not use to CBM to be honest. Mostly all of my experience is in Vanilla.

I have been staleing the last few turns and that doesn't seem likely to change. I've just lost interest. Do we know anyone who wants to take over Ulm?
