Ok, it's back up now. I'm going to have to take it back down later today to finish up some things, but you shouldn't have any problems using it in the mean time.

You have it back up now, but turn emails don't seem to be working.

Re: PBW status

The email problem is unrelated to the work I did this morning. Our email provider is on the fritz again. I've contacted the admin about it. Until it's working again I have turned off automatic turn processing.

Re: PBW status

Email is fixed. Everything is back up and running now. I've turned automatic turns back on.

We've added support for version 1.94 to PBW. I've setup all the 1.91 mods as 1.94 mods. If you have a game you want switched over and you are confident the mod is compatible, have your game ower post a message in the PBW admin forum.

My original plan was to just change everything from 1.91 to 1.94 since it was two-way compatible in all my tests. However, when I tried that this morning we had some mod games that were causign errors on the server. I'm not sure if this is a mod compatibility issue, or just a savegame issue. We'll deal with them one at a time though as the games get converted.

Re: PBW status

When the error occurs, are you using Firefox/Mozilla? If so, try with Internet Explorer. I think that function will not work without IE for some reason.

Re: PBW status

Yes, it was. Unfortunately I didn't think to try that before leaving for work. Oh well, I just wanted to add a message in case a certain other player misses the shortly upcoming deadline.

Re: PBW status

Many of these errors can be avoided or gotten around by using the text UI instead of the graphic UI. The graphic UI prefers IE, but the text UI is pretty much browser independent.

Re: PBW status

Not really a big issue, but I think there might be a problem with PBW's email. I uploaded a turn, and did my next turn a few minutes later when the server was done processing... and I recieved the notice that the turn was ready about an hour later (after I had already downloaded and uploaded that turn) http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/eek.gif

Probably just an isolated incident, but there might be something the SMTP daemon is getting stuck on, so worth looking into.
