You're getting there. Just a few minor nitpicks and some mechanical problems with how you entered it into OpenRPG left.

I count 69 skill points spent out of 72. You have no ranks listed for Perform (Singing), while previous versions of your sheet had 3 in that skill. Perhaps that's where the missing points are supposed to be?

Speak Language (Dwarven) is listed, but with no ranks. Are you spending a skill point on it or not? You'll have to take the point from somewhere else if you do, though.

You have one too many languages listed at the bottom. Have you been playing elves for too long and forgot that humans don't get Elven for free? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif

Bluff should have +2 Misc from Persuasive, while I can't find the source of the +2 Misc you put for Gather Information.

Bards are spontaneous casters, which OpenRPG isn't set up to handle very well. You should probably do something like I did with Elorin, adding "Level 1 Spell" and such to your list in OpenRPG (will require xml editing), and using them to keep track of spell slots remaining. The actual spells should then all be set to a really high number prepared each day so that it's always the "Spell Slot Tracking Device"s that run out first.

You appear to have entered your attack bonuses incorrectly in OpenRPG. In OpenRPG, double-click on your character's node and go to the Weapons subsection of the Combat section. There should be two tables there. In the top table (first column "Type") enter your base attack bonus of +4 in the "base" column for both rows. In the bottom table, for each individual weapon enter only the modifiers that apply specifically to that weapon in the "damage" and "To hit mod" columns. The damage for your rapier should be 1d6+1 there, OpenRPG will automatically add your strength bonus when it rolls that attack. The to hit mod for your rapier should be +4 (+1 magical, +1 Weapon Focus, +2 Weapon Finesse).

You can edit the names of weapons and armor directly in OpenRPG, there's no reason for your rapier to not be noted as +1 in the attacks section or for your +1 mithril chain shirt to be described as an ordinary chain shirt in the armor section. You may have to restart OpenRPG before it will notice these changes, however.

Hmm, you still have a fair amount of money for mundane stuff left, why don't you make that shortbow masterwork with a +1 strength bonus for 375 gp? Masterwork adds +1 to hit, and the +1 strength will allow you to apply your strength bonus to damage (you'll have to include that in the damage field, unlike with the rapier).

Edit: I was checking spells to decide which one to recommend dropping for Cure Moderate Wounds (like it or not, you are the party healer here), and discovered that Spectral Hand is Sor/Wiz only.

Always something, isn't there... I just realised I forgot to list the skill points for the two Speak Language ranks I took.

The +2 to Gather Information is from me not being able to follow a straight horizontal line in a table, and misreading the Skill Synergy entry for Knowledge(History) as Knowledge(Local).

Spectral Hand is in there for no apparent reason as that should be Cure Moderate Wounds. Sorry I didn't check totally carefully, I did this just before I had to dash off to class.

Thanks for the tips with the weapons stuff... I almost always play Wizards, but since you have Lae'nal already, I figured I'd try Bard...

So, everyone ready to start this week?

Starting this week is fine, though I'm still unconfident with using weapons... no complains about the (hopefully) final version of character sheet?

So I can make sure of time differences I am posting the current time 12am (midnight)

Edit: I'm not sure, is the forum PST or EST?. I suppose someone can tell me how many hours, and thus what time in the morning, after midnight I should start.

I'm happy with your equipment. You sure do have a lot of skill ranks, but it's too late for me to work it out and I'm happy to trust. I notice you know elven, that'll be interesting to work in.

Re: Online D&D Gaming

Bards and humans get quite a few skill points...

Level 1: 4 * (int modifier + 6) + 4 = 4(1 + 6) + 4 = 32
2,3,4,5,6: 6 + int modifier + 1 = 6 + 1 + 1 = 8

By my timezone (PST), you posted at 5 AM.

Just one actual "complaint". You need to make it clearer that the "+1" on your masterwork composite shortbow is the maximum strength bonus to damage, not a magical enhancement bonus. Also, in the weapons sections, the bow's misc bonus should be only +1, and the damage 1d6+1. Everything else looks right.

Besides that, I've only got an organizational suggestion: You've already got your spells known sorted by spell level. Now, move each of your "Spell slot trackers" to the beginning of the appropriate section, so that they split up your spell list into easily seen sections by spell level. Besides making it easy to see almost at a glance what level any spell in your list is, this will ensure that whichever spell slot tracker you need to use is always close in the list to the spell you're casting - just go up the list from the spell you're casting to the first spell tracker you find, and that's it.

I'm pretty sure the forum displays times according to whatever time zone you set in your profile.

Our standard time is 5 PST or 8 EST, which used to be 10am for Randallw. Now that Daylight Savings Time has ended/begun (it goes opposite ways north and south of the equator), the same time for those of us in the US is now noon in Australia. Congratulations Randallw, you get to sleep in a little more! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif. Hmm, is this enough that you won't need to skip your meds to get up in time?
