But his remark about crack makes me want to know if the game can be modded to include a drug that will also increase happiness. Does anybody know, and how would you do it?

Call him a "drug dealer". Make him also cost a lot - to represent the negative impact on the population morale and productivity.

I wasn't really thinking about crack per se, but just some general drug, or aphrodasiac (?), that would increase happiness. Is it possible?

hey now thats an idea, could you make a troop componenet give pop happeness?

if so you could make entertainers or something.
