I sent a mail to Malfador Machination asking the same question. I got answered that the demo should be out in the begining of august.

I think we all areeagerly waiting for the upcoming demo of Starfury.
Can some kind soul give us an appoximately release date for the demo ?

We don't release demos until at least when the game goes Gold. You have to have the game finished to release a demo.
