Space Empires: Galaxies Returns!
 

Greetings!

The Space Empires: Galaxies roleplay system is ready to start up again. A new galaxy, Ashadra, is in the works along with an improved mod. We're now looking for committed roleplayers to join!

Space Empires: Galaxies uses multiplayer PBW games to develop substantiated roleplays based on game events and the interactions of the players. Roleplaying, not winning the game, is the primary objective. As such, completely annihilating an empire or reducing it to rubble, is generally contrary to the roleplay aims. It would be considered unfortunate if the game came to an end since it's intended to continually generate new roleplays and stories for as long as possible.

Subject: Only Serious Roleplayers Need Apply

Greetings!

Space Empires: Galaxies roleplaying is starting up again and a new galaxy, Ashadra, is being created. The mod that will be used for SE: Galaxies is undergoing a few changes and a number of new options are being added to complement a roleplaying game.

We're looking for 10-12 dedicated and reliable roleplayers for the game.

Our first attempt was scuttled by a mixture of pbw downtimes, mod errors, forum outages, and many of the players dropping out without notice.

However, we're going to be dedicated to making sure that this game is a success and many enjoyable roleplays are developed - so that's why we're requesting only players who are very interested in joining.

We're looking at running several turns a week to start - and then slowing the pace down as the players begin to meet each other in the game. You'll be expected to play along in roleplays that develop in the forums and most of all, to have fun.

You worked it all out really great.
I'm offcourse interested in this game, and will start write some background stories asap. (for you to decide if they are interesting enough for the Ashadra Galaxy.

I wish i could! I'm currently Involved in 2 Different RP communities on Space Empires, Still updating the SE.Net Fanfiction archive, Still have to do the image mod additions i previewed and then i have Real Life to deal with. [img]/threads/images/Graemlins/Cold.gif[/img]

Well, I will be playing the tempting devil there, but...

The first turns will not take much time to do (at least, if the first game is any indication), and actual roleplays will only start to happen by the end of the year. I guess the time spent for this game will mostly depend on how you feel it; the game will also have a slow turn-around (a few days to a week) once we are past game start.

The game should start in a few days (to a week), and half the slots seem to have already been taken, so I gather you will have to join quickly if you do want to play in this game. Just to make it clear. I'm going to play and have contacted Capt Kwok to, but only today did it occur to me to find the game at PBW. I'm waiting fot the mod, as well as unsure at the moment what to name my empire although I already have an idea for it.
