Why don\'t tramplers suffer from Fire Shields?
From my testing, it seems that tramplers ignore fire shields. I am not sure this
is how it should be. Trampling definitely involves contact - I think they should suffer the fire damage. Of course, the same applies to the rest of the auras. |

OH FOR GOD'S SAKE. NOT MORE NERFS TO ELEPHANTS. AS IT STANDS THEY CAN NEVAR WIN ANYWAY.
Seriously though, I agree. |
Re: Why don\'t tramplers suffer from Fire Shields?
Elephants have very tough feet. No damage from fire, except a bit of the hot foot.

does charged body work against elephants?

Re: Why don\'t tramplers suffer from Fire Shields?
To my experience it does.

Re: Why don\'t tramplers suffer from Fire Shields?
Hmm in that case there's no reason why fire shield doesn't work...elephants don't like fire AFAIK.

Re: Why don\'t tramplers suffer from Fire Shields?
I don't know. Maybe give Fire Shield a bit of Animal Awe too? Awe works against tramplers right? Besides, what animal in it's right mind would attack something that's on fire anyway?
Of course as far as non-animal tramplers go, Chariots have those scythed wheels that'll cut down most enemies without the rider even having to touch them, and monstrous creatures just throw their entire body at the target and are usually big enough to smother the fire entirely with their whole body. |
Re: Why don\'t tramplers suffer from Fire Shields?
Few people in their right minds would attack thru a wall of fire either, but it happens all the time in Dominions. You'd think they'd learn after their buddies were burned to a crisp, but no...
