Rejuvenate NOT WORKING ?
 

So, basicly i just wasted 20 slaves, 2 casts to figure out this spell doenst work. My mage was 65 years old and instead of going own to 55 or 56, he just stayed at 65.

Is this known ?
Is there any other way to combat achieved old age ?

It has always worked for me (case in point - I just tested it using 3.23 and .24...)

Are you certain the spell was cast and that you checked the right commander?

Are you using any mods?


There's a spell available to T'ien C'hi (inner alchemy) with the same effect as rejuvenation.

Permanent regeneration effects such as that gained gear slows the acquiring of new afflictions and stops disease damage entirely, so that's a way to save old but important commanders.

Iirc, the Elixir of Life and Boots of Youth items prevent aging.

Im 100% percent sure. I have the balance mod, the site mod and i think worthy heroes. I tried it three times now, the blood slave ressource went down by 10 each, the spell was being cast according to the round log but the commander in question (i really couldnt mix him up since it was the dead king of mictlan, hero) didnt lose age. I then tried with two times with a high mage and he didnt lose age as well.

Are the units undead? I've never tried with an undead unit before, but I know it works with e.g. Bogarus's Starets.

You could double-check to make sure there's no issue with the mod; when you say "the balance mode" -do you mean CBM? Which version?

Yes, its cbm, latest. I thought it might have no effect on undead, thats why i tried a human priest afterwards.

Why are you casting Rejuvenate on Mictlipoctli? Why is his age not ~450 (with max 500)? Is there another undead Mictlan hero or something?

I dont think it really matters which undead or living hero the spell is being cast on, because it doesnt alter age anyway.

Just tested, and Rejuvenate works just fine with CBM 1.6 and patch 3.24.

It matters because the context around your example doesn't seem to make sense.

Context is important to understanding why this isn't working for you, so maybe give a fuller/more accurate description?

Or zip up your game directory and attach it, that would help too.
