Cbm: Me
I know there has been a considerable part of the community somewhat wary of recent CB changes- this is pretty understandable, I have some reservations about possible repercussions of the hammer change myself. Personally, I would like to see how they pan out, but the re-ignition of the gem gen debate has made me realize there is fundamental clash between in how some people enjoy the game completely apart from game balance per-se. Far be it from me to cast judgment on what makes the game fun for others, the result is Conceptual Balance Mod: Masochist Edition. This version is equivalent to CB 1.7 with the exception of changes of the 'nerfing' variety, including those of earlier CB versions.

Re: Cbm: Me
Thanks, that seems to kinda work, though for some reason in doesn't seem to like adjusting caps.

Re: Cbm: Me
Huh, that's really strange. Using the formatting CBM: ME it tries to correct the case of the letters. If you put another word before or after CBM: ME everything is ok. For example, CBM: ME (alternate version) works fine.

Re: Cbm: Me
hehehe,
I might refer to it as 'classic edition'. Thanks alot for the thought though. --- any chance we can get a features/updates list for this one? (relative to 1.5 of 1.7 is fine) |
Re: Cbm: Me
'Master Edition' :D

Re: Cbm: Me
Thank you QM. Does it have a list of changes?- or better yet a short list of diffs from CBM 1.7?

Re: Cbm: Me
ok. I just ran a diff. I have a few Qs and comments.
1. what's that? -- Divine Grasp #selectweapon 510 #bonus #end 2. What are all the rutted and rusted armors for? 3. So, is gorgon back to base price? 4. Same Q for oracle new path. 5. I actually like Forge lord nerf :) 6. I also like Hinnom nerf After reviewing the diffs I conclude that I like CB 1.7 more than ME. However I may prefer to disable SDR/hammers uniqueness depends on feedback for 1.7. Excellent work QM et al. A breath of fresh air to this tired game. I'm eager to see how the hammer change would pan out. |
