PBW Game Idea - Husband&Wives

Would anyone be intested in a PBW Game where pre-arranged teams of Husband and Wife (or couples) play against other H&Ws???

We would only need 4 teams to make an 8 people PBW game. Probibly with a 7 day turn around.

It would mean you would have to share the computer with your better half, but I can think of some benifits? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

Just an idea at this stage to see if they are any takers?

Man I'm going on 24 years. No way am I going to play a long game of SE4 with her as an ally. You take her. As Rodney says "Take my wife, please!"

I'd be ruined from the start. j/k http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

My wife doesn't play SE4 and she wants it to stay that way.

After a few turns, my wife would be extorting cash from me, in return for her continued support
in the game. Then she would want to do it her way just because it looked nice. After that she
would never ever glass a planet, it would be just too cruel. Not to mention that there might be
some homeless cats on said planet. Then she would realize that there are no cats in the game.
She would then proceed to send off a barrage of email to every addy in outlook, demanding fair
and equal treatment of cats. Me, well by then I would just be lurking around with a new
persona.

Oh, she gave the game an honest try, but lost interest. I think she looked in "one hand" and saw SE IV then looked in the "other hand" and saw Mechwarrior IV on MSN Gaming Zone and decided any free time she had for computer gaming would go to the Gaming Zone since it was MUCH more exciting to her.

So......that was THAT !

Yah, I've got the opposite problem. My wife got a little too happy about napalming planets... left nothing but a universe full of very large glass marbles http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

I'd rather take 'em intact thank you very much.

At first she played SEiv non-stop. Fortunately she's very intelligent and found the AI not challenging enough. She got bored and let me have the computer back http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
