Adamant Mod Game On PBW

Who wants to play a PBEM game of Adamant Mod? I think a group of 6 would work fine, 2 of each type (hopefully). This can be considered an alpha test (still not beta without magic and organic weapons http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif ). It will of course turn into a PBW game once PBW comes back Online. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

So what sort of race would you guys like to play? Physical, Organic or Magic?

I'd like to join, but that seems a bit unfair, if magic and organic races can't attack anyone http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif Or do you just mean they have to use the Physical weapons for now?

That might not be such a good idea... you know how long it takes to get a new Version of a mod uploaded on PBW? And if you're only in alpha that will basically happen all the time?

Then again, even if it wasn't on PBW, you'd run into data file compatibility errors, unless you made it a sequential (non-simultaneous) game... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

Almost all weapons require no racial traits (save things like Temporal weapons, and a few normal ones that I have made Versions of for the three race types).

Actually, just processing a turn with new data files changes the game to be compatible with them instead of the older ones. Changing the files mid-game is certainly not a problem (except for adding stuff in the middle of the files... adding to the end works fine).

Also, keep in mind that other than weapons, there is really nothing new left to add, only tweaking to be done. Unless, of course, I missed some minor things... such as stellar manipulation for Organic races... hmm... better add that soon. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
