Yes, I asked him about it a few months ago. He said he took his name from a character in "The Sims".

See, this avatar is a blank that I placed in one of my glass frames. The bright white spot in the upper left corner is the light reflecting off your monitor. Go ahead, tap the avatar on the screen. Can you feel the protective glass? Amazing eh? It's magic, not evil.
