Just a quick update
The firewall at work decided to block Intel Forums (BLast them. BLast them all with a PPB). http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon8.gif

Taz know game with hammers too! It's called the "Hammer Throw"... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif (Unfortunately, in his haste to demonstrate it, Taz forgets to have Narf let loose of the hammer. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif ) Grabbing the hammer, Taz begins to spin... Faster and faster Taz spins until suddenly at about 15,000 RPM he lets loose of the hammer. Only then does Taz realize that Narf is still attached to it... Taz watches as the hammer (& Narf attachment) zooms away... 'Watch out for that tree!' Crack!!! Now only HALF a tree... 'And the Barn' Crunch! Crunch! Oh well, perhaps that barn needed more ventilation anyway... 'Also that Electrical Tower' ZAP!! Sparks fly as the half the support is sheared away... Taz watches anxiously as hammer (& Narf) continues the journey to a distant mountain peak. With a solid Clunk/Splat sound the missile impacts the solid granite cliff face. The Last Taz sees of Narf is Narf bouncing down the mountain side... a few minutes later, Narf sits up.
He shakes his head experimently. still attached. shaking each limb in turn, he determines that their all attached. Narf calmly pulls a wheel of cheese out of his pocket and begins eating it. ... finishing his cheese, he gets up and charges down the mountainside towards Taz. once he gets on level ground, he attains a velocity of mach 4, simply ignoring any trees in his path. Taz watches in google-eyed suprise as a wave of trees soars into the air. as he runs by Taz, Narf hits him two-handed, sending Taz flying through several trees, two military bunkers, five tanks and into the top of a mountain. afterward, the top of the mountain doesn't look so good, but then, neither does Taz. ... Coughing sounds are heard coming from deep in the mountainside as Taz makes his way back up a Taz-shaped tunnel. With a final 'cough' Taz staggers back into the sunshine and slowly a wide grin breaks out on his massive face... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
'At Last, a playmate that doesn't break AND likes to play rough!' thinks Taz as he get his bearings. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif Taz dusts himself off and picks a piece of dented Tank Armor from between his teeth! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif Taz doesn't remember eating a tank... With a shrug, Taz tosses the armor into the nearby bushes and charges straight down the mountain for Narf. Unfortunately for the local terrain this means through whatever is between - so a second line of destruction is created parallel to the first. Again the Military Base is harshly treated and another bunker, six Tanks and the Officers Mess is demolished. (Taz was getting slightly hungry & the mess hall was on the way...) As Taz draws near Narf, he smiles and prepares to suggest a new game - While Narf takes another bite of cheese and waits for whatever happens next... To the surprise of both, the local armed forces recovered quickly and surround them. Armed aircraft arrive and circle overhead while heavily armed men and machines backed by artillery encircle the area. War Satellites and even a mobile Weapons Platform is directed to the area. A loudspeaker blares: 'Ok Monsters, surrender or we will let you have it!' http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon8.gif If anything, Taz's grin just gets wider. To his somewhat skewed outlook this just means more fun ahead! Taz turns and looks at Narf to see what his reaction is... |

Taz's faces lights up (as it nearly always does when destruction is imminent) and he starts to make and release minature cyclones. If you step out of them just right, they will continue on by themselves.
As Taz steps out of his 5th such whirlwind he notices that the airplanes and satellites have opened fire and are raining PPB beams down... Hmmmm, Cartoon Physics... Moving quickly, Taz gathers and shapes some of the local forest giants into 30 foot long spears. He then spins rapidly in place and launches these into orbit. Passage through the atmosphere fire-hardens the missiles and one by one the Satellites are skewered and destroyed. The wind and sonic booms caused by this also knocks down the local aircraft... |

*Narf grabs a tree. seeing as a tree is the smallest unit a tree can be and still be a tree, he paints 'atom' on the tree. then, he sets it upright* *making a little jump, he swings his hammer at the top of the tree and smashes his 'atom' all the way to the ground.* ... Narf's 'atomic tree' bLast catches Taz unaware and accelerates his already rapid spin exponentially.
5,000 RPM... 50,000 RPM... 500,000 RPM... At 999,999 RPM the ACME Spin-o-meter needle hits it's stop and wraps 3 1/2 times around it! The universe may never know what spin rate was actually reached, but Taz DOES know its result - a tunnel was drilled straight down almost to the Magma layer below! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif Taz instinctively realizes his danger and starts to climb FAST! However Taz finds that he is being outpaced by the erupting magma and releases, Umm, certain pent-up Taz gasses. The Magma ignites these gasses and Taz finds that climbing is no longer necessary - HE IS NOW ROCKET POWERED. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif Exiting the soon-to-be volcano, Taz angles his body, and using the Last of the gas manages to make a fiery landing on the mountain beside Narf. Aside from a few brush-burns, a slight atomic sheen to his fur, and a small burned off patch of hair in, let us say, his nether region; Taz is satisfied he is A OK. Yeah, um, getting back to the original topic, I messed with the configurations here at home and the Forums are now readable. They still look odd, but readable.
